I really enjoyed reading your blogs, specifically the ones regarding the WWE and was wondering if you’d be interested in becoming a contributor to my blog (marcelmagazine.wordpress.com) on the topic of the WWE’s three brands. You could give your opinions on their cards, the company itself and more. Let me know if you are interested @ marcelmagazine@yahoo.com.

    Thanks for your time

Are you related to Jim Brock in Glens Falls? Give my tunes a listen and let me know what you think.

Send me a friend request if you have a MySpace Page!

    Later,
    Jeff Smythe

I wasn’t picking a fight with you, Kev. Since you closed the comments on that, I will do you a favor and upload a Youtube video showing you that cutting the excess off your strings does not impact tuning. Incidentally, I am 37 and have been playing guitar (in bands) since I was 13 years old.

Okay, sorry for attacking you. Maybe I’m just in a bad mood lately which could explain my rants.

I know some guitarists can simply stay in tune even if you trim the excess, but that’s because they must really know what they’re doing. Every time I do it, the tuning seems to be going down some, always. I guess it all depends on how close you cut toward the nut.
