BREAKING NEWS: Grand Theft Auto IV breaks record in the U.S…

It broke records of sales in the U.K. first, and now it finally broke records in the U.S.A. “Grand Theft Auto IV” has beat “Halo 3” and “Pirates of the Carribean: At World’s End” videogames with “GTA IV” becoming the biggest opening in any entertainment product ever. Before the game came out it was speculated that the game would make over $300 million, but turns out it made more than $500 million.

I can see why. The game is absolutely mind blowing.

  1. The amount of money this game has made so far is simply insane!

I just read this report that claimed that while the sale of violent video games has skyrocketed over the past decade, the reported cases of violent crime involving kids has actually decreased.

Could violent video games actually be making kids less violent? I’m not sure if I buy it, but it is an interesting debate.
