Being an open book about yourself online when you’re blogging about your life like on an online journal or myspace blog or whatever sounds like fun and it may sound pretty cool to be an “open book” about yourself on the public internet, but the truth is, it isn’t a good idea.
I used to do this in the past in livejournals/myspace before I started using blogs to view my thoughts on entertainment news, but being an open book on your private life will only bite you in the back pretty hard and then people will start making all these rumours about you that aren’t even true. You’ll never know who is reading your journals/myspace blogs and you’ll never know how many people will be reading.
I made a vow a while ago, that I will never discuss my private and personal life with anybody. Whether it’s about my family, financial budgets, my sex life, women, health, etc. Whatever it is.
When ever I see other people talking about that stuff online whether in anonymous blogs or youtube videos, I’ll never respond to any of it. Why? Because the answer is simple, what I do in my life is my business, not yours. People have no right to talk about your personal life. When you see that happening, do not respond to any of it, ignore it all and just let ’em keep talking. Everyone knows that everything people say about you or myself are all made up lies and stories. They do it, they enjoy seeing you responding to it and they want to create a rise out of you.
Be happy, stay strong, be upbeat and enjoy life. Being yourself and doing what you want to do is all that matters, who cares what anybody else thinks about you. Do not let the online tabloids about you, bring you down. Let ’em keep talking ’cause they are just making you more popular. I think it’s funny stuff that people would waste their time and life making tabloids about people online anyway.
