Teen star, Dakota Fanning is in talks to play the leading role as Cheri Currie frontwoman of “The Runaways”, the biopic of the all girl punk rock band from the 70’s. Before you go thinking that Dakota Fanning is too young to be playing Cheri Currie, since Dakota is now 15 years old, Cheri was about her age around the time she was in the band.

“Twilight’s” Kristen Stewart is set to play Joan Jett in, “The Runaways” movie.

Interesting casting so far. I can’t wait to see who they’re going to get for Lita Ford, that will be interesting.
