One of my favorite unsigned bands from the UK, The Teenage Casket Company has finally returned! They are touring the UK and here’s a few videos of their recent live performances. Great to see the band back.
I’ll never forget the night when I shared the stage with this band at the Hudson Duster in Troy a couple of years back, that’s when I first discovered them.
A few videos from their performance at a music festival called Trashstock. The TCC is a band from Nottingham. Their frontman, Rob Wylde also fronts a band called Sins of America in Boston, Mass of the USA.
Kev
You said they’re unsigned but they seem to be a real, famous band! that is cool you got to share the stage with them. I hope they didn’t have egos just because they’re illegal aliens playing gigs in America.
the guy’s shirt is really funny. I think thats not even a swear in England! Too funny.
The singer reminds me of Bret Michaels cuz he hits the side of his head with the beat. That’s pretty cool. I liked when bands did it 27years ago, too. At least he doesn’t have the “Scarlet H” like Bret Michaels, Steven Tyler and Tommy Thayer. (that’s “herpes”)
Hope you get to do another gig with them and get even more popular. They seem like cool guys. “Guys” is just a figure of speech so apologies to the bass player.
p.s. I am totally on Joan Jett’s side, too. You’re 100% right again!
ROCK THE BOWTIE, CHICKIEBABY!!
LOL, the guys in the Teenage Casket Company would find that above post hilarious!
I’ve always admired the TCC ever since I shared the stage with them in Troy. I’ve actually met Rob Wylde very briefly after their performance that night, it was just a quick “hello” and a handshake, then telling him how much I liked their set. Then we all posed for a group picture after. Was a good night. I forgot what year it was, maybe 2006 or ’07 or maybe way earlier.
The TCC do play around here in the Capital District sometimes, they mostly do shows with The Erotics.
