Serena Williams wasn’t the first tennis player to lose temper tantrums on the tennis court. Back in the 80’s, the players were allowed to get angry but they were never punished for it. Today it is not allowed and if players lose their tempers, they need to suffer some harsh consequences like a huge fine, maybe a suspension, etc.

Here are some of the best John McEnroe tirades back in the old days. Similar to Serena’s, but John had much worse. Sorry Serena, but you still can’t top John. Try much harder!
