It’s been fifteen years since “Tales from the Crypt” have been off our TV screen, but don’t worry, kiddies, sit back and relax, because the Crypt Keeper is about ready to make his return to the small screen. Gil Adler and Andrew Cosby have teamed up to move the project forward. They said that this show has nothing to do with the original HBO series. The new show will have stories based from the comics and it will have a modern feeling. It is not yet known what channel the series will hit the small screen but Cinemax is interested in it. The article also doesn’t say if the Crypt Keeper will make his return but I’m sure he will return.
Deadline reports.
I was a huge fan of the original show. Used to watch it all the time when I was a kid. It’s one of those shows that I will stay up late to watch. I hope HBO will get it back.

Dear Lord, I hope they don’t bring it back the way it ended. Toward the last few seasons, the Crypt Keeper started to tell jokes that were even worse than Fred Kreuger’s. Let’s hope they keep it more in the horror vein as opposed to horror-comedy because VERY few of those work.
