Now that the summer season of popcorn action and superhero flicks is almost over with, here comes the Fall season where all the serious drama films will start coming out.
Here is a top ten list of Fall movies, I’m looking forward to seeing this Fall, in no particular order:
- The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo – This one I’m looking forward to the most. I really can’t wait to see Fincher’s version of this movie and I really hope he doesn’t disappoint us. I hope he did a good job with it.
- Mission Impossible IV: Ghost Protocol – Did I say this movie out loud? This actually looks like a very good movie, and I’ll probably see this one in theater for sure.
- Appollo 18 – It’s another one of those found footage movies with the likes of “Blair Witch”, “Paranormal Activity”, etc. It’s about two NASA astronauts who go on a mission to the moon and you find the real reason why they never came back to Earth. I’m looking forward to this.
- J. Edgar – The Clint Eastwood and Leo team up in which this is a J. Edgar Hoover biopic the man who founded, the F.B.I. I love Clint’s movies whether he’s either starring or directing, I look forward to any Clint film.
- Moneyball – A movie starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill, it’s a baseball movie focusing on the Oakland A’s manager, Billy Beane who is successful on putting together a baseball club by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players. When I first heard about this movie, I wasn’t so sure about it. Then I saw, the trailer and was impressed. I’m there!
- Paranormal Activity 3 – Loved the first two P.A. films, I will probably see the third one in theater too.
- The Three Musketeers – Another Three Musketeers remake that stars Orlando Bloom. It actually looks very good, so I will probably see this one.
- Immortals – The Greek myth film that stars Henry Cavill. The trailer got mixed reviews, but I liked it. I love movies like this so I will probably check it out.
- The Muppets – The new Muppets movie is actually looking very good. I’ll probably go see this one.
- Warrior – It’s a sports movie about MMA that stars Tom Hardy. I’m really looking forward to this one as well, looks like a great film.
I wanted to add Steven Spielberg’s “War Horse” but I didn’t have enough room for this list, I’ll probably end up seeing that one anyway.
That’s all, Enjoy the list!
