My Ibanez AEF-30 acoustic electric needs repairs as you can see here. That guitar part, I don’t know what it’s called is broken. The four corners are broke and I can no longer screw it in, plus the battery slide there is having trouble pushing in as well. Plus, the electronics are dead. There’s probably a loose connection somewhere with the wiring.
I’ve been talking with Parkway Music guitar shop in Clifton Park, in hopes of replacing that entire guitar part. I’ve had that guitar part fixed and repaired at Saratoga Guitar before, but it broke again. I once asked Saratoga Guitar if they can replace that guitar part for me, but they claim it’ll be way over priced, when it shouldn’t be.
Parkway says, that guitar part will cost me around $20 and might cost a little extra for replacing it, I’m not sure. It shouldn’t cost much to replace it, ’cause I’m sure it would only take them a few quick minutes to re-wire the whole thing to make it work good like new again.
Parkway seems very good when it comes to repairs. I want my Ibanez Acoustic/Electric to be working good like new again so I can plug in and rock out again. When I first bought this guitar, I think it costed me about $400 – $500. So can you blame me for wanting it to get it fixed so badly? I don’t want to give up on this guitar.
After I get this guitar fixed like new again, I’ll be sure to take very good care of it, next time. I still like to play acoustic even though I play an electric guitar now. I’m working with Parkway on this.
