For the past decade: pop, country, rap, R&B, and dance music has been pretty huge in mainstream music. Could Rock finally make a huge come back in 2012?

I mean, we have Black Sabbath coming back next year. Possibly Van Halen and Soundgarden will be releasing new albums  as well. Tool is finally making a return. I’m sure Metallica will release their new album (the true Metallica, that is). Rush is also finally coming back with a new album too.

Rock is slowly trying to come back to the mainstream, and hopefully the genre will kill all this pop garbage next year. 2012 will be a big year for rock & metal and I can’t wait!

I don’t listen to today’s music much ’cause it’s all pop and rap garbage. I want to hear rock & metal, with lots of great guitar playing. That’s my kind of music.
