Some people ask me what my goals are in bodybuilding and what I want to achieve. I used to not want to get as big as I possible can. I used to just want to get a small physique and become in decent shape, but I changed my mind. I DO, want to get big as possible. I want to take my bodybuilding dreams to the next level and try to look like a real bodybuilder. Bodybuilding is awesome. It’s an amazing feeling changing your life like this. I love getting feedback on my physique everywhere I go, and I love being at the center of people’s attention about my physique. It’s a great feeling, and that’s what pushing me to get bigger. The feedback from people is my motivation.
While I’m very proud of my physique, I still have work to do on a few body parts. I still need some improvements on the chest, need bigger chest pectorals. I also need to improve my calves (the muscles on the lower legs). I’m pretty happy with the rest of me though. The chest is the hardest part to improve but I’m trying. I just train the chest real hard once a week, so I can give it plenty of resting and healing. Not sure if my chest is better now, I plan to take new pics soon to see. I do various exercises for the chest each week. Something different. One week, I do a bunch of push ups. The next week I do free weight stuff like dumbbell presses. I don’t do bench pressing too much, I think it’s overrated. I just want to see how else I could get a bigger chest other than the bench press.
I don’t do bodybuilding just to get attention from people, I do it for me. To look better, and to live a healthy lifestyle. Not trying to sound like an ego maniac, but I still believe I’m the only true bodybuilder in my hometown of Greenwich. I go to the Y on a regular basis and most of the physiques that people have at the gym aren’t really that good. I haven’t seen much guys with true bodybuilder physiques, yet. A lot of people are pretty flabby and mostly skinny. I haven’t really seen any huge guys with monster arms yet. Sure, there might be a few guys with decent medium sized physiques, but not a pro bodybuilder physique.
My goal is to look like an actual bodybuilder, like my heroes, Stallone and Schwarzenegger. People say it’s impossible, but I can prove I can get there. I’ll get there in a couple of years or more, watch me. Like I said before, I may have started late on bodybuilding but it’s a good time to start. I’ll get bigger and leaner when I reach Stallone and Schwarzenegger’s age.
I know what I’m doing and doing an okay job so far, with no trainers or anything.

Any comments on steroids will be deleted. I’m fucking tired of talking about how Arnold and Sly are my heroes in bodybuilding, yet, people tell me they got there by steroids. Well duh, it’s not like I don’t fucking know that. Bodybuilders always get accused of using steroids.
It is possible to get a ripped and big physique like that, without using drugs, and I will prove that.
The doubters can fuck off.
Kev
Whoa, hang on, man…it wasn’t to be a douchebag, Kev. The reality is that they ALL used steroids to get that big. Yes, it was legal at the time, but the fact is, it simply isn’t possibly to get that unnaturally huge without taking steroids. All of the professional bodybuilders you see on the circuit today are roided out of their skulls. End of story, man!
As I said, it isn’t like I haven’t heard that stuff before. People tell me that “steroid” stuff all the time, blah blah blah. I just ignore the steroid bullshit. It is possible to get big and really ripped. Just strict eating most of the time and working out each body part really hard once a week. Eating 5-6 meals a day, you’ll get big and jacked with no problem. In fact, I feel I’m already there and already getting big when I just started bodybuilding 5 years ago. I have a decent bodybuilder physique now, but have a lot of work to do still.
Kev
It is certainly true you have a great physique, but there are limits….genetic and otherwise. It is just a fact that you’ll never be Arnold-sized without steroids or HGH.
I still believe I can get a competitor’s like physique. You just gotta believe in yourself and stop doubting. I used to never agree with getting into a bodybuilding competition but now I say never say never. I could look into getting into it somehow if I get enough people who try to talk me into getting into it. You can’t always blame ripped physiques on steroids and HGH. It can be done naturally.
Kev
Just get enough protein, get enough sleep, and plenty of resting. You’ll have a big physique in no time.
Kev
Only thing though, not sure if any bodybuilding competitions out there accepts people with a disability. I have scoliosis, not sure if they accept people like that. I’m sure many pro bodybuilders with scoliosis have competed before. Trying to do research on this.
I found somebody with scoliosis who had competed… Kristi Larsen… check her out:

I think competitions welcome anybody, as long as you have the muscular body that is ready for competition, I don’t see the problem.
Kev
They can’t deny you entry, but your ability to compete would be based on you making a cut.
True that. I still have years and years of work to do in order to be considered compete-able material. Like I said, when ever I get a lot of people that think I look good enough to do it, maybe, I’ll do it. Not sure if there are bodybuilding competitions locally in the Albany area though, probably not. I may have to go to NYC or LA for that stuff. I’m not saying I’ll ever enter the Arnold Classics or Mr. Olympia, but the smaller and more independent competitions that are around the U.S. Once again, never say never.
Kev
Will all due respect, you don’t have any shot of ever competing in anything on the level of Mr, Olympia, but you could look into local, natural competitions.
Yep, that’s what I just said. I’m probably better off doing the local, and independent competitions, the smaller ones. There’s plenty of that stuff around.
Kev
Actually there are bodybuilding competitions in Albany, just found one:

There are competitions all over Albany, after all!

On a side note, I think it’s pretty insane that whenever an amateur bodybuilder wants to achieve a goal or a certain dream, they would get other people criticizing them and doubting them in return. Instead of being supportive, they get criticized. This stuff is usually common with all bodybuilders when they want to achieve their dreams. No matter what their dreams and goals are, the only way to achieve it and be successful at it, is to ignore everyone. Don’t listen to anybody that want to talk down on you. That’s what happens when bodybuilding becomes so huge and mainstream like it is today. That’s the problem with the sport, the negativity. They would get blamed for steroids and all kinds of stuff.
The bigger and more muscular I get, I would probably get accused of using steroids myself by a lot of people, lol. That’s okay though. When you get so many criticizing you and doubting you, you’re on the right track. They’re most likely jealous, so I don’t listen to anyone who criticizes me. I’ll keep going and will get the ripped physique that I always dream of having.
