Since 2014 is just around the corner I thought I would write a list of films that I look forward to in 2014… here are the films I look forward to in that year:
- Open Grave: A zombie film that stars Sharlto Copley. Youtube the trailer.
- Devil’s Due: Another found footage horror film that looks interesting to me.
- I, Frankenstein: A film based upon the graphic novel that stars Aaron Eckhart.
- The Monuments Men: The George Clooney directed World War II movie that everyone’s talking about. Film should be a good one.
- Robocop: I hate most re-boot movies but the new Robocop actually looks very good!
- Need For Speed: A fast car action movie starring “Breaking Bad’s” Aaron Paul in his first major leading role.
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier: LOVED the first Captain America movie… will be seeing the sequel.
- Godzilla: The new Godzilla film actually looks badass. I was impressed with the trailer.
- X-Men: Days of Future Past: Looking forward to this Bryan Singer directed X-men reunion film. Can’t wait to see Patrick Stewart back on the big screen.
- The Expendables 3: These movies just keep getting better and better every year! Looking forward to this one too!
- Maleficient: Looking forward to seeing Angie in this film.
- Edge of Tomorrow: The sci-fi action flick starring Tom Cruise looks awesome!
- Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: I’m looking forward to the next installment of the Planet of the Apes reboot. This one looks very good.
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Another Marvel movie that looks pretty interesting.
- Interstellar: The Christopher Nolan sci-fi movie with Matt McConaughey and many others. This should be the film of the year.
- Paranormal Activity 5: There are actually two Paranormal Activity movies coming out this year. One is the spin-off movie, “The Marked Ones” and there is also the 5th installment coming in Oct. I look more forward to the 5th movie more than the spin-off. I just LOVE the Katie Featherston story.
- The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay: I saw the first two Hunger Games movies in the theater, will probably see this one. I was pretty impressed with “Catching Fire” so hopefully this movie will be just as good.
- The Hobbit: There and Back Again: The third installment to the Hobbit franchise. I still haven’t seen the second one yet which I will see sometime next week.
- The Purge 2: I saw the first Purge movie and loved it. It’ll be interesting to see where the sequel is going to take us.
- Sabotage: Another action film starring Arnold Schwarznegger. Should be a good one.
That’s it. Enjoy the list! 2014 looks to be a better year for film!
