The reason I started blogging years ago was so I can have my own place to rant/rave/bitch/whine or whatever. I wanted a blog so I can have an excuse to keep writing and a way to get things off my system. Some have accused me of having a negative life and some think I am depressed because of all of my angry rants over the years but that’s not the truth. I’m actually a pretty happy guy so I’m all good. I like to go on angry rants a lot ’cause they help make me feel better. It’s good to do that. A lot of people mistakenly think it’s offensive and wrong but I never did. I always thought it was a good thing to do. Ranting is good for the mind. Going on rants help you think and makes you smarter.
In my opinion, the best bloggers are the honest ones who goes on long angry rants. The bloggers who are willing to talk about “anything” that comes to mind. I mean anything… in a no holds barred kind of way. Talk about whatever you wanted everything from bashing celebrities & famous people, talk about sex/talk dirty, the crazy things that goes on in your life, swear/cuss, being honest about everything, etc. That’s what my blogging style has always been about.
When you start a blog, you can’t care what anyone else thinks. Speak your mind. Ignore the comments and critics. Always stick to your opinions and thoughts no matter what anyone says. Your blogging style may upset and anger a lot of people but who cares? That’s what you want to do. That’s how you get people to pay attention. Notice how bloggers who are nice, friendly and lovable get no attention? If nobody is hating you, then you are doing something wrong.
People have gotten all over me about the stuff that I posted over the years but I don’t really care. I’m actually flattered and honored of the mixed responses that I get. So no regrets of my blogging at all. I’m proud and happy of what I do. Love me. Hate me. Either way… I’m good. 🙂
My point being, I don’t blog to make everybody happy. I blog ’cause it’s my own little, “message board”. People can debate and argue with me on topics all they want to, I will always stick to my thoughts and opinions.
People also see me as a “controversial” person on the internet but how? I never saw myself as “controversial” but whatever, ya know? I always saw myself as a guy speaking my mind like everybody else. It’s also pretty weird that everybody gets to say what they want but when I open my mouth, I’m the bad guy all of a sudden. Ha! That’s how people are on the internet, I guess.
Someday, I think I’m gonna host an online Q&A sessions… maybe at reddit, youtube, twitter? Not sure. I’ll figure it out. An online Q&A to talk about music, movies, politics, bodybuilding, etc. I think youtube would be the best place for a Brock Q&A session. Maybe I’ll plan something soon. I know I have quite a bit of followers and supporters who’ll be interested in something like this. It’ll be fun, I think.
