Over the week, I spent some time watching, “The Office”, the UK version with Ricky Gervais. I finished watching both seasons and I’m really liking the show a lot. It’s definitely way better than the US version with Steve Carell. It’s too bad that the UK version of “The Office” only lasted for two seasons. It could have gone on longer but it was cancelled due to low ratings.
I have been a big fan of Ricky Gervais for a long while now and I finally got around to checking out his version of “The Office” which was great stuff. The UK version of “The Office” was funnier as hell. I couldn’t stop laughing at some parts.
I still need to watch the last two of the Christmas specials of “The Office” which I will watch later today. I really like the show and once again, wish it could have gone on longer. Ricky Gervais is a talented and funny man, I’ve liked him for a long time.
I’m gonna have to check out his new show for Netflix called, “Derek” pretty soon.

It wasn’t canceled, it’s the highest rated British sitcom of all time. Gervais decided to end it before it got crappy because he didn’t like when shows went on and on until they weren’t funny anymore.
Incorrect. He ended it ’cause he knew that other countries were gonna try to copy it like the US did with the Steve Carell version.

I can see why the UK version is more popular than the US version though. The UK version is aimed at adults (the humor in that version is pretty crude which makes it awesome) while the US version is all family friendly. I still love the Steve Carell version but Ricky was funnier.
My favorite episode of the UK “Office” is when they have that dance party at the second season and Ricky does that funny dance. That scene had me crackin’ up!!!

The best scene of the whole show, LMAO!!!

Google is a pretty useful tool isn’t it guys??? Before replying to my posts, I’m almost positive you all look at google for the answers. Don’t lie about it. 🙂

I know he was a part of the US version. I’m not dumb. I used to watch the US version a lot when it was on TV and his name would almost always show up on the credits. I think he even made a few appearances in the US version as well. He ended this show ’cause he knew it was gonna be successful in other countries.
Closing this ’cause all you idiots are gonna do is argue.
