If I were to form my own band, what would my band be like? In my head, I can see us being a tight rock n’ roll band. Mostly hard rock stuff with lots of tight riffs and aggressive rhythm playing. Just concentrate on writing the best music possible. In my head, I can also vision us playing improvised guitar solos and long jams kind of like what Led Zep and Jimi Hendrix have done. Led Zep and Hendrix were the best at long jams in rock music and I kind of wanna do the same thing when I get my own band going sometime in the future.

If I ever start looking for musicians, I’m not gonna pick musicians at random. I’m gonna take talent very seriously. I’ll be looking for a great drummer who can tell time well and stay in the pocket. I would also want a bass player who can improvise well. You betcha, I can vision us being a jam rock kind of band. Of course, I will also throw in some ballads and acoustic music too. We will also do covers and originals both.

Forming my own rock n’ roll band is something I’ve always wanted to do and still do. To me, looks, image, and age doesn’t matter to me as long as someone has the talent I’m looking for. It also doesn’t matter whether a musician is either male or female.

Over the years of my music life, I’ve tried many attempts to form my own band or join someone else’s band. I’ve had a few band auditions before, a long time ago. I wasn’t good enough back then.

As you can see, I’m trying to improve my playing so I can be good enough to play in a band. That’s what I want. I think I’m just about there. I’m just taking my time and not rushing myself. I’m kind of getting a little tired of being the acoustic solo guy and wanna do something different and rock out. That’s kind of why I’m most focused on electric guitar.

I can form a band right now if I wanted ’cause playing with other musicians WILL improve my playing even more. We’ll have to wait and see. Making a rock n’ roll album on CD is something I’ve always wanted to do and something I’ve always dreamed of. It’ll happen someday.
