Welp… throughout the Winter, I’ve got some books to read. Right now, I’ve been reading Sharyl Attkisson’s book, “Stonewalled” and I will review it when I finish it. There are other books that I got to get around to reading too. Other books that I got to read that I currently own are Asa Akira “Insatiable” (a memoir written by an iconic porn star), Amanda Palmer “The Art of Asking” and Saul Alinsky “Rules For Radicals”.
Some of you may wonder, why did I get the Saul Alinsky book? Well, I got it out of curiosity after watching Dinesh D’ Souza’s movie, “America”. Obama happened ’cause of Saul Alinsky’s book, “Rules For Radicals” so I wanted to read that book for more research material about Obama. I didn’t get the book to support Alinsky or his writing, I just wanted to research more of how Obama came out to be. I wanted to know how Alinsky inspired Obama to be the way he is now.
Other than playing and listening to music, lifting weights, watching movies… reading books is another one of my favorite hobbies. Reading books have always been my passion since I was a kid. The books I mostly like to read are horror/thrillers, celebrity autobiographies, guitar instruction stuff and politics/history.
I like to read books ’cause it helps me think, stay focused and simply enjoy the peace and quiet. Stephen King is my favorite writer, though. I’ve been a constant reader of Stephen King for years. He’s pretty much the only fiction author that I mostly like to read although I do enjoy other fiction authors like George R.R. Martin and Dan Brown. I don’t read too many fiction authors.
I mostly like to get books on hardcover but once in a blue moon, I’ll buy an e-book for the Ipad. Reading is good for ya, it’s one of my favorite things to do.
