New Digitech Trio band pedal that was exclusively revealed at NAMM… sounds like a badass pedal!!!

At the NAMM event, they revealed an exclusive new pedal that is coming out pretty soon called the Digitech Trio. What it is, the pedal is like that it turns you into a one man band. You plug the thing in, turn it on and the pedal listens to your playing and bass & drums will start following along to your playing. You can play rhythms and leads over this.

This does look pretty cool and I’m already interested.

The pricing for this pedal is unknown at this time but I would think it’s gonna cost like a couple of hundred or a little more. The pricing shouldn’t be that bad.

This is something I would get because this would be great practice for me jamming in a full band, ya know? I could also perform gigs with this thing too and I can be my own band. I won’t need a band at all.

There are tons of musicians out there who have loop pedals where they can be their own band but this pedal the Digitech Trio looks like it’s gonna kick all their asses.

If the pricing isn’t gonna be too high, I might think about buying it myself.

  1. It definitely looks worth it. The only thing I am not sure of is this:

Say you have a song that has a verse, chorus and bridge section. You can go through and have the pedal create drum and bass parts for each section and save those patterns. However, I wonder if the pedal will be able to instantaneously switch between sections. In other words, I am not sure if you could actually record with this pedal, or if it is just a good tool to jam with.

If the pedal knows how to switch between song sections, then forget about it…I already have mine reserved!
