Even though Abby’s sail around the world trip is over, she’s still not giving up. She vows to give it a second try.

Maybe this will give her a lesson for her next trip. Maybe she will travel by bigger boat next time and maybe she won’t travel alone. Travel with other expert sailors that are able to battle strong ocean currents. One person can’t do it alone. Maybe Abby will take a break from sailing for a while and learn how to sail better. She did good though. She came this close to making her dream come true. I think she’s gonna wait until she gets older when she wants to try again ’cause she’s too young, 16. Maybe she’ll try again when she’s 30.

Edit to add: “The Discovery Channel” or NBC might want to make a reality show of her next sailing around the world trip, I’m very sure of it!

Great news:

In my opinion, she shouldn’t give it up because her parents wants her to. She should keep going if she wants her dream to come true.

16 year old sailor, Abby Sunderland, has been reported missing at Sea. She was sailing in the Indian Ocean and she haven’t been heard from since she turned on the emergency beacon on the sailboat.
More on it here:

Before assuming she sank or she died at a dangerous area in the ocean, stop and think how she can still be alive and sailing? Maybe she’s too busy trying to battle strong ocean currents, that she doesn’t have the time to contact emergency right now. Or maybe the sailing is not that dangerous at all where she is, and she’s sailing fine with no issues.
I just think she has worried parents after she turned on the beacons.
So yeah, I believe she’s still alive.
