Tori Spelling just recently dropped out of the new Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff due to do a dispute over pay. The studio offered her a certain pay but it appears she wants more money.
Her former co-stars Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth were payed way more than Tori, and Tori complains she deserves the right to get payed equal with them. The network refused Tori’s request, and the actress never showed up for filming.

I’m on her side on this one. Tori Spelling is a 90210 veteran too and deserve to get payed more. This isn’t fair for Tori at all.
It’s not an ego thing with Tori wanting more money, it’s about making things right and fair.
She’s doing a good thing.

The main star for the original “Beverly Hills 90210” Jason Priestly drops out of reprising his role as Brandon Walsh for the spinoff TV show when asked to do it. He maybe looking to direct a few episodes though, only when his old cast mates are starring in them. Jason starred in 248 episodes of the original series as Brandon and directed 18 episodes of the original. Jason feels that Brandon did his time from the original series and feels that the character is not needed for the new series.

Maybe it is kind of a good thing that Luke Perry and Jason aren’t returning.
It’s time for new young male stars to rise to the top for the show, we don’t need to see them being held down by “has beens”.

Tori Spelling spoke to the media confirming the rumours aren’t true when she dropped off the “Beverly Hills 90210” TV series. She says she’s still game for the show but will appear in later episodes since she just had a baby. She will STILL reprise her role as Donna Martin. So yep, all three women Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling are all still on.

First Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling, here is a third “Beverly Hills 90210” veteran in talks to returning. Shannen Doherty is in negotations to star in the “Beverly Hills 90210” spin off TV series to reprise her role as Brenda Walsh. Doherty’s character has been pretty popular for a long time and fans been begging the character to come back, now they can stop dreaming and begging.

Pretty sweet news. I guess I’m gonna have to watch the first episode of this spinoff when it hits TV just to see how the show is.
I don’t think Jason Priestly or Luke Perry will return but who knows.

Jennie Garth who played Kelly Taylor throughout the entire “Beverly Hills 90210” TV series is confirmed to play in the upcoming spinoff of the show. However, she is not signed full time, she is only signed to make special occasional appearrances reprising the role as Kelly Taylor.
The new 90210 spinoff series will air on CW Network channel and it is being produced by CBS Paramount. The title for the new 90210 spinoff has not yet been revealed.
