Alice Cooper revealed the big news that Orianthi will be the replacement for departing guitarist, Damon Johnson. For now, Orianthi is just a touring guitarist for Alice Cooper. There’s no word on whether or not she will record in the studio with Alice sometime in the future, yet.

Orianthi is a young shred guitarist, who is underrated and not many people know who she is. She got a little exposure when she did the rehearsal footage with Michael Jackson for the film, “This Is It”. I think she’ll get more recognition with Alice Cooper. Playing with Alice will help her become a little more mainstream.
