So I actually picked up a couple of albums on physical CD today…

Even though nobody cares about buying albums on physical CD anymore, I still do once in a blue moon even though I listen to music digitally these days.

These days, if I really like an album a lot, I’ll buy it on physical CD. Isn’t it interesting how physical CD’s are NOW more expensive than digital albums through Itunes? The industry purposefully does that ’cause they want everyone to buy music digitally from now on. The industry is trying to get rid of the CD market.

I got these albums from Target ’cause they were 9.99 there but everywhere else they costed more than that. It’s a shame what the record industry has come to. I miss the days when CD’s actually mattered.

I really love Lana Del Rey, though and I know, I’m late getting into her music. Didn’t care for her at first but her music really grew on me. I’m now realizing that she’s pretty amazing. I didn’t get her second album, “Ultraviolence” on CD yet but I will next time. I’ll review her new album, “Honeymoon” after I give it a few listens. I’m sure it’s real good.

Think I’m in love with Lana Del Rey now, listened to “Born To Die” and “Ultraviolence” last night…

After finally getting around to checking out Lana Del Rey’s music last night, I think I’m in love with her now. Yes, she’s pop music but like I said in a post before, I’m not totally against pop music ’cause I actually dig some of it. Lana Del Rey’s music is very very good. Loved both of those albums, “Born To Die” and “Ultraviolence”. Her songs are pretty powerful and intense. I love her singing voice too. This is how today’s pop music is suppose to sound, in my opinion. Even though, “Born To Die” is a really good album, I love, “Ultraviolence” a lot more, though.

One thing though, she is loved by most liberals in America. Why do liberals love her so much? I would think the only reason is that she had one of her videos where she played a lesbian in it and liberals immediately assumed she’s all for “equality”. Ya know, maybe that was just a character for a video? So because she played a lesbian on a video doesn’t mean she is one or she maybe all for equality. Maybe she just wanted to send a message with the song and the video? From the looks of things, it seems that Lana is more conservative than liberal. Sure, she hasn’t went public with her political views yet but you can tell what her political views maybe just by listening to her songs. Her song “National Anthem” is a big clue that she maybe conservative. She’s also very religious too so that’s another clue that she maybe conservative.

Anyhow, I’m glad I finally got into Lana’s music ’cause she’s very good. She’s better than most pop singers. I can deal with her than Miley, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Lana’s music is more enjoyable and likeable. I know I’m late getting into Lana’s music but late is better than never.

One of my favorite tunes by her is “Shades of Cool”. See video below.

Oh wow, I’m really digging the new Lana Del Rey song… “Honeymoon”… powerful!!!

Admittedly I’ve never listened to too much Lana Del Rey. I’ve heard all of her singles that she released and I quite like them. I really love one of her older hit singles, a song titled, “Blue Jeans” which is a song that I love… I think that tune is amazing and so is this new song that she just put out today.

Her new song “Honeymoon” is incredible and I’ll probably check out her new album when it comes out.

I’ll also have to listen to her previous albums “Born To Die” and “Ultraviolence”. I just put those two albums in my Apple Music library so maybe I’ll give those albums a listen later tonight. I probably will.

I never listened to much of Lana Del Rey but I should and will. I really did love her older song, “Blue Jeans” such a cool tune. I’ll post “Blue Jeans” along with it so enjoy.
