Report: Heath Ledger theatre being built in Australia, named after him…

There’s a theatre being built in Heath Ledger’s hometown of Perth, Australia, and the theatre is being named after him. The name of the theatre is called, “The Heath Ledger Theatre”. Heath Ledger is a big supporter of theatre plays as I’m sure that’s where he started in theatre before hollywood movies. Heath’s father, Kim Ledger, says this is what Heath would have wanted and would be proud to have a theatre attached to his name if he was still alive.

Kim Ledger and the rest of the family are making plans to travel over here to the USA to New York City to attend “The Dark Knight” premiere on July 14th. Christopher Nolan already invited the family to see the first eight minutes of the film.

Pretty cool thing they’re doing for Heath.

I can’t wait for the Dark Knight.

  1. Heath was cool and all but I think people are making too big a deal over him, don’t you think? He was a good looking guy and the chicks dug him but I mean he was no big deal when he was alive, why is he all of a sudden some major lost talent now that he’s dead? It’s not like he cured cancer or invented a cheap car engine that runs on sea water or anything. I mean hey, what’s the deal? If he was in the Beatles I’d say he was worth all of the public mourning (unless you mean Ringo) because they actually did something important. What did this guy do, entertain us for a few hours while we got greasy popcorn stuck in our gums? Actually I don’t think I’ve seen any of his films and I won’t be seeing this Batman flick because I know it’s gonna suck but people are still gonna say it’s great because it was HEATH LEDGER’S last movie, am I right?

  3. Everybody supports Heath because he’s one of the best actors in the movie industry today. I look forward to the Dark Knight not because Heath Ledger died, I’ve been looking forward to that movie from day 1 ever since the film was greenlighted. I’m a huge Batman fan. And a huge fan of Christopher Nolan’s work and I loved the first movie “Batman: Begins”.

Heath’s acting is great. If you find nothing special about them, that’s fine, everyone has an opinion. Everybody loved Heath even before he died. There is something special about his acting. Heath’s acting as the Joker is supposed to be his best performance and I can’t wait to see it.

The Dark Knight is not gonna suck, trust me.
