Here it is, Rush performing on Stephen Colbert. It was a great performance until Stephen interupted the performance at the end of it like an idiot and then he forced the show to go to commercial when the band was still playing the song. Rush should have played on either “Jay Leno” or “Conan O’ Brien” instead. Other than that, this performance is amazing. All three men in Rush are all amazing talented musicians. Geddy, Alex and Neil are all great. I’m a huge Rush fan, I have several of their albums in my CD collection including their new one “Snakes and Arrows”.

I used to like Rush back in the day but I couldn’t tell anyone I liked them cause Rush was popular with those kids who were good at math. We used to shake those geeks down for their lunch money so we could go out and buy beer and cigarettes after school, and once I swiped a Rush tape from one of them after we dumped his sorry ass in a garbage can in the cafeteria. I thought it rocked cause you could see the panties of the chick on the cover. I don’t remember any songs off it though.

I can’t believe Colbert ruined Tom Sawyer like that. I’m still sitting here today in complete shock. They don’t perform in 35 years and that’s how they are welcomed back. Who in their right mind would talk and jump in front of Rush?
