Report: Youtube soon to run full length TV shows in it’s entirety…

Youtube my favorite website, will soon be showing full length TV shows in every single episode and every season in profesional quality. You missed some episodes in your favorite TV show and you don’t want to spend all that money for a DVD boxset of your favorite show? Not too worries. Youtube will give fans an opportunity to watch your classic TV and todays TV shows for free.

The youtube giant inked a deal with CBS to start airing shows such as the classic “Beverly Hills 90210”, the original “Star Trek” series, the daytime soap opera “The Young and the Restless”, and “MacGyver”. The Showtime shows “Dexter” and “Californication” will also get the deal.

This is only the beggining, they will start off small but youtube plans on airing as much TV shows as possible in the future.

This sounds pretty cool. I’m all for this.

“Macgyver” is one of my favorite shows so I’ll be watching some of that in youtube when they start doing it.

Expect youtube to get all other popular shows as well such as “The Simpsons”, “The Family Guy”, “South Park”, the earlier “American Idol” seasons, “Friends”, etc.
