Celebrating the work of Ron Howard…

Ron Howard, who is most famous for directing such iconic movies with some big name stars and most famous for playing the role of Richard Cunningham in the hit TV series “Happy Days”, celebrates his 50 years of working on film. In the 50’s, he started off as an actor…acting in various TV shows and movies. As time went along, Howard moved on to directing and acting both at the same time. Later on, Howard gave up on acting for good and just concentrated on directing only.

My top 5 favorite Ron Howard films here in order, these are in my opinion his best directed films:

1. A Beautiful Mind

2. Willow

3. The Missing

4. Splash

5. Appollo 13

Feel free to name your favorites.

  1. his latest comedy “the dilemma” was a massive letdown
it was one of the unfunniest misjudged comedies I’ve seen in a long time.
The pace was just wrong throughout, the cast unlikable and the direction virtually invisible (in a bad way!).
Sorry, but I’ve just got terribly bored and NEVER felt the balance between comedy and drama was well handled.
