Ya know, actors like Christian Bale going mad and losing his temper is nothing new in Hollywood. Why is the media acting like this is something new happened? It isn’t. Actors and actresses lose their temper all the time when something goes wrong while filming.
Even the film directors lose their tempers and go on a rage, when the actors can’t film a scene right and perfect the way the director wants it. When people go, “Oh no, Christian Bale is an asshole, what a douchebag, I had so much respect for that guy and I’m no longer a fan, waaaaah, waaah, Waaahh, etc”, that shows you have no idea how Hollywood works.
I still support Christian Bale for this. This is something called “Work”, people getting mad happen at all jobs. At your day job, I’m sure there are all kinds of yelling and screaming all the time. It’s even like that at my job sometimes with other employees. It’s the same with Hollywood.
GET OVER IT PEOPLE! Christian Bale getting mad on a job is no big deal. Stuff like this happens in every day life. People get mad, SO FUCKING WHAT! If you were an actor and some idiots in the film crew were being morons, who messed up a perfect scene that Christian nailed and then he have to film the scene over again, you’d get mad too. That’s what he was being mad about in the clip. Hint: Bale calling them “amatuers” and so on.
Not all actors are the nicest people in the world, get over it. The only reason this is made public is so the media can have something to drool over. I’m sure these hollywood stars are nice to people out in the public but when they are filming and working, it’s a different story. This ain’t a big deal and it’s ridiculous to me why this has to be media news in the first place.
I think the main reason is that I think Christian is still upset with the death of Heath, he has never gotten over Heath’s death, as Christian and Heath were very close friends while filming “Dark Knight”.

The END justifies the MEANS. They are all their to SERVE the greater good, which in this case is that T4 movie. Christian Bale, when he threatens to kick the ass of the assistant director, sees the bigger picture. Not only does he know his job and what he should be doing. He knows EVERYONES job and what they should be doing. Kinda of like a great quarterback in football in that sense.

brocknroll your completely wrong with what you said. you know, that guy is earning a million dollars while he performing in front of camera. so beeing the main character or something doesnt mean, he can literally rape someone with words, like he just did. its a human you know and if i where that guy beeing screamed at, i would not have been letting him do it for more than 1 minute.
you know, everyone makes mistakes, so maybe did that assistant. Do you think CB is doing everything correct in the first shot, like beeing the perfect fucking actor? you cant believe that…
I will always stand by my opinion that Christian had every right to do what he did. Sure, he maybe a bit too harsh and out of line, but when someone is shining a DP light or walking on set while filming a very important scene, no actor is certainly going to smile about it. How can you not?
The people calling Christian an asshole and a prick for this, those people like yourself have no idea what it’s like being a hollywood actor. It’s hard work. I don’t blame Christian at all for flipping out. He maybe out of line and harsh, once again, yes, but after hard days work, doing the same film for about 10 hours a day, Christian’s probably stressed out by the hectic work.
Christian went straight to work on the new Terminator movie as soon as he finished “The Dark Knight”. His anger is probably part of never having any time off for himself. Think about it, would you want to smile and be upbeat of working hours and hours and hours of long days doing the same thing? Trust me man, no one likes it.
If McG was on set during this incident, McG probably would have calmed everyone down immediately but it appears that McG wasn’t on set. Now that this had been made publicily, I’m sure Christian would probably explain his actions and McG will speak out publicily soon.
Shane Hurlbut was the one being the asshole. Christian was trying to film a scene while Shane was concentrating on trying to fix a stupid light when he shouldn’t be doing that during filming. Christian is innocent on this, 100%.

Plus, anytime anyone yells at anyone like that for any reason, it’s awesome. Did you listen to the clip? I would have loved to have been there! I thought it was terrific. It really doesn’t matter whether Bale is right or wrong. What matters is that what he did was really awesome.
He was justified. He said this wasnt the first time the guy had done it.I didnt hear the assistant deny that either when he said it. I dont think alot of you people know how much a single scene can cost. Ok, im doing a scene that costs 20k to maintain hourly, if some retard steps in the middle of it im gonna be mad as hell.
