Report: Eddie Vedder to play two solo shows at “The Palace Theater” in Albany, N.Y. this summer…

Eddie Vedder, the Pearl Jam frontman, just unleashed tour dates for his solo tour. Vedder will kick off his solo tour in Albany, N.Y. at the Palace Theater, June 8th and 9th. Does this mean that Vedder will be spending the night in Albany that weekend? Looks it.

What will Vedder play in his solo tour? Probably the usual stuff…songs from the “Into the Wild” movie, a bunch of Pearl Jam songs acoustically, and covers of other bands/artists songs. Maybe Eddie will throw in some new and rare stuff as well.

Another concert I’m interested in going to, I’ll think about this one.

  1. I will think about this too.
    BUT I’m probably not going to Albany even if my favorite, Sha Na Na, is playing. Not even if it is for free most likely. Bummer.
    Too many criminals are prowling around that neighborhood.
    My pops once gave me advice that if one of those criminals even tried any funny business to be sure to never punch them in the head because the skull is so thick from evolution. He said to always hit them in the stomach because THOSE PEOPLE DON’T EAT SO GOOD.
    I would never fight anyone because it is violent –but that is good advice.
    If you go I hope there is good security to protect all the people with jobs who want to go see a good concert.

  3. Not that there’s too much crime in Albany… too many assholes in my book. For that reason I would stay home.
