Legendary Pictures and Blizzard, the video game company has a “World of Warcraft”, live action movie in the works. They have asked the “Spiderman/Evil Dead” director, Sam Raimi, to direct the film and Sam says, yes, he will do it. Sam plans to direct “World of Warcraft”, after he completes, “Spiderman 4”.

I never played the “World of Warcraft” games before.
I expect Bruce Campbell to get some type of role in, “World of Warcraft” movie…maybe a cameo or a co-starring role?

I have very high hopes for this one purely because I have enormous faith in Sam Raimi’s talent. He’s done everything from comedy-horror (the “Evil Dead” movies, “Drag Me to Hell”) to serious thrillers (“A Simple Plan”) to superhero movies (“Spiderman,” of course). Raimi puts his own stamp on everything, and I expect he will do a fine job with “World of Warcraft.”

I totally agree you. I think Sam would do a good job at this myself. He’s never done a video game adapted movie before, I don’t think, but with “World of Warcraft”, I think he’ll mix it in with a lot of Evil Dead style, he’s done that with his other movies before. Sam is a great film maker, I loved most of his movies except I don’t care for his work in “Spiderman”. Sam does a great job with the “Spiderman” movies don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying those movies suck, it’s just that I’m not a big fan of the Spiderman superhero, that’s probably why I don’t like those movies.
Thanks for writing in.
