“High School the Musical” director Adam Shankman, is set to bring us “Rock of Ages” broadway musical to the big screen. “Rock of Ages” is a broadway musical play that focused mostly on 80’s rock music. The musical starred former American Idol star, Constantine Maroulis.
Shankman says this movie will be strictly aimed toward the men audience by describing it, “The Mamma Mia for dudes”.

No casting announcement for the film version yet, but I’m willing to bet they will sign Constantine Maroulis for the film version too. I don’t see anybody else playing the Drew character other than Constantine.

From your blog to the gods’ ears. Constantine IS Drew. The movie wouldn’t be right with anyone else. It will be a totally kickass movie and I can’t wait to see it!!
Your blog is spot on regarding Constantine as Drew. The story of Drew follows to a great deal the story of the real Constantine. He’s this hard working guy who never stopped believing in himself and his dreams. He’s such a believable Drew on that stage and to stick some so called “star” in the Drew role will destroy the credibility of the plot. There’s only one Drew and that’s Constantine! Constantine is Drew and Drew is Constantine!
