Well Easter came and gone. I just wonder how bodybuilder’s and fitness people handle easter. This is the time where candy starts getting handed out to everyone. I’m sure a lot of bodybuilders and fitness people have children and little toddlers of their own, and I’m sure they sometimes eat candy with them for fun. For some fitness people like myself, kind of worry. We think to ourselves, “Damn it, I got some candy and wonder if I should eat it?” I’m sure some fitness people don’t eat candy on Easter and some do with their kids. I read somewhere that chocolate can be a great cheat. Really look it up yourself. It is widely known that chocolate is a pretty common cheat in fitness.
So as long as you’re eating a healthy nutrition most of the week, it won’t kill you to eat a day of chocolate.
These days, I’m taking nutrition so seriously, it’s crazy. What I do is keep a strict nutrition during the week by eating healthy things, and on weekends, I’ll eat a cheat or two like ice cream or chips & dip. I watch what I eat now by reading the nutrtition labels on the back of food items and stuff like that. Making sure things are high in protein, not too sugary and fatty.
The only thing I don’t know how to do yet in fitness, is calculating and measuring how much % of body fat I have. I’m sure it’s very easy to do and will ask the owner at my local gym to give me a lesson on that. Edit to add: I shouldn’t be that bad in bodyfat %’s, because I’m not overweight at all. Right now, I weigh about 150. I’m pretty sure that’s “Muscle” pounds, not “fat” pounds. That’s why I need to know my bodyfat %’s so I can make sure. If I’m still a little bit flabby, I’ll work on it more. Yes, I’m doing the very best I can to get a ripped and jacked physique I’ve always dreamed of. It’ll take me a long time to do but I’ll get there.
