For a while now, I’ve been eating whole grain bagels along with my egg whites for breakfast every morning. I think starting tomorrow, I’m going to start avoiding whole grain bagels. I will have a bowl of oatmeal and have egg whites both everyday instead. I was looking online for a better substitute for bagels, and every fitness person recommended oatmeal. The healthy oatmeal, not the flavored oatmeal.
Whole grain bagels are healthy, nothing wrong with it, but they are high in calories. If you want to get lean and get lower bodyfat, oatmeal is recommended instead ’cause of lower calories.
I think I’m going to start having oatmeal and egg whites from now on.
Do I get tired of eating the same things all the time? Like egg whites for breakfast every morning, tuna/salmon for lunch, or chicken breast/fish/steak for dinner everyday? No. Those meals are the most important things you need for a fitness nutrition. You need your healthy carbs, fibers and proteins.
My bodyfat is pretty low, but I plan to try and get lower. I haven’t measured my bodyfat yet, I need to order one of those bodyfat calipers soon.
Edit to add: I’m not the best at fitness nutrition, but I’m still learning. You may make mistakes of eating the wrong things sometimes, but it’s called learning. I’m no nutritional expert so I have a lot to learn still. Trying to eat the right foods as careful as possible.
