As some of you probably noticed by now, I’ve been doing a lot of book reading. Yes, a lot of it. Mostly fictional stories, celebrity biographies and music books. Why do I read a lot? Not only it’s a favorite hobby of mine. I just love fictional storytelling. While reading, you’re picturing yourself watching a movie in your head. A lot of people don’t like to read, but I do. Reading is good for you.
It’s not really healthy to watch hours of TV, browse the internet, or play video games, but reading books is way better. Reading books is safer for the eyes because you’re not looking at a screen. That’s why I hate those Nook and Kindle things. When people read novels on a Nook or a Kindle gadget, instead of reading from a book itself, that is no different than watching TV, playing with the internet or video games. I would read books on a hardcover or a paperback, not on a gadget thing.
Some of my favorite authors lately are Stephen King, George R.R. Martin, J.K. Rowling, Dan Brown, and Steig Larrson.
I’ve gotten back into reading books again, because I’m thinking about getting back into fictional writing myself. I’ve been planning on it for a long time. I’ve actually tried to go to College to improve my English and writing skills, but can’t go to college at this time, but maybe someday down the road though?
I will be mostly a horror and crime fiction writer. I just got Microsoft Word for my computer so I can get back into writing which I have.
If I upload any of my work for the world to read, I will get it professionally edited (for grammar and spelling mistakes), copyrighted and upload it in a .pdf document for Acrobat Reader. I’m not saying what I’m going to be working on. It’s a secret. I love storytelling. I try to tell stories in song form, but it’s time to get back into writing actual novels and short stories. Will I ever get something published in an actual novel down the road? I’m gonna try ’cause a published author is something I’ve always wanted to be for years. This was my original dream before music.
