In honor of Dimebag’s 7th year Anniversary death, I thought it would be cool to name 5 of my favorite Pantera songs of all time. I’ve always loved this band and Dime has been one of my favorite guitarists for years.

Here are my favorite Pantera tunes:

• Cemetery Gates –  It’s a beautiful song. Everything about the song is perfect. The guitar playing, and Phil’s voice is very heartfelt in this tune. Love this song too much.
• Cowboys From Hell – Another one of my favorite Pantera tracks. Powerful guitar riffs, vocals are great. Just a perfect metal song. These guys certainly knew how to sound true metal.
• Walk – It’s just a tight as hell tune. One of their best radio singles of theirs.
• Revolution Is My Name – Another one of their best radio singles, this song makes you want to get angry and break stuff.
• Planet Caravan – I’ve always loved their cover of this Sabbath tune. It’s a really good rendition and a hard song to cover. Only Pantera could do it, and they made it their own song.
