I remember watching most of the Beijing Olympics back in 2008, and I remember watching gymnastics a lot, and watching the young, and talented, Shawn Johnson. I remember being pretty impressed with her. It’s a shame that we won’t be seeing her for the Olympics in London this year. She’s retiring at 20 years old, due to a knee injury during a ski accident. Due to the knee injury getting worse and worse, she has no choice but to retire. Usually people retire from sports at an older age, not this young. So this is pretty inspiring.

I love the Olympics, will be watching it a lot this year too.
