Anything posted from other websites such as UltimateClassicRock, The Sun, etc. The list goes on. They are most likely to be fake news, as in not true. This is the only reason why all these rumors and speculation started about the 02 ’07 concert being released to DVD/BluRay/CD. You can’t believe everything posted on the internet. The only way to believe any news is real by Led Zeppelin, is when the band themselves announce the news.
Cineplex leaked early that the 02 ’07 show will be released in a film titled, “Celebration Day”, to be in a limited time only theater run. I’m not believing that until the announcement. I’m also not believing the 02 release until tomorrow’s announcement as well. Other news sites try to leak Led Zeppelin news early ’cause they know it’s going to draw people to their websites to get more hits, as a way to get paid more with their advertisements. So that’s why a lot of sites try to make stuff up about Led Zeppelin, as much as they can.
This is why I wouldn’t assume that this will be the 02 show getting released. It can be something way different tomorrow. It could be an album announcement along with a small tour, whatever it is. It’s going to be something special, and it will be fucking, EPIC.
One of the news that is real and official, that Led Zeppelin will be honored at the Kennedy Center, along with Buddy Guy, Dustin Hoffman, David Letterman, and Natalia Makarova. While this is good news for Led Zep and congrats to them, I don’t think this will be the teaser tomorrow. See the news, here.
The fans in facebook and other forums are going nuts over tomorrow’s announcement, most everyone still think it’s the “02” show, probably is, but I’m still betting my money that they will announce something much bigger than that too. Maybe not a full fledged tour, but maybe another one off show? I think it would be kind of cool if they did one last gig at, Madison Square Garden. I would go, if they do.
Tomorrow is gonna be great, and I’m excited too like everyone else. I’ll be on the look out.

If you do your research, it was long rumored that they quietly recorded an album titled, “χυμεία3”. This was the unreleased album that Dave Grohl and everyone else was talking about. Maybe this album will finally see the light of day? Who knows though.

If you do your reaearch, you will see that “they” was not Led Zeppelin. There’s also a lot speculation and evidence that that was a fake.
Page and Jones got together with Jason Bonham and considered starting up Led Zeppelin again WITHOUT Robert Plant. That is what the material was for, and they even auditioned singers to replace Plant. The project was shelved soon after.
Led Zeppelin is DONE. The sooner you accept it, the better off you’ll be. They’ve done great things in music, and they went out on top.
I don’t think Led Zeppelin is done yet, I feel they got some music left in them and they can tour still if they wanted.
I mean, the fuckin’ Rolling Stones are still going, and they are bigger than Led Zeppelin. The Stones wrote two new songs for a Greatest Hits album, and they are possibly going on a full fledged tour. I don’t see how that’s hurting their career. If the Stones can still do it, so can Led Zep. Why not?
I personally think people are disrespecting Led Zeppelin by doubting them all of the time. People are not a true fan.

NOWHERE is it claimed to be LZ. And did Dave Grohl ever mention that tune by name? So some dude by the name of jakauppa posts and creates a website ledzeppelin2012-which, by the way, no longer exists- leading people to believe it’s LZ.
There was aa court battle over it, and it was ruled the single could be released, but still noi evidence of any kind tying it to LZ. All references that it could be LZ are gone.
BUT-the rumors still persist.
Genius marketing by the guy that actually recorded it and put it out. He avoids a copyright lawsuit by not claiming to be LZ, but keeps MILLIONS believing that it IS LZ.
Multiply that by 99 cents and hiomie is laughing allllllll the wayyyyyyy to the bank.

And look some of the releases…one of the theaters advertising the film is in Australia. Guess what? It’s already Thursday in Austrtalia, so are legally free to promote it already.
This should be further proof that it’s not some big tour/new album/reunion news.
They would have kept tighter control of that and not released it to relevant entities such as theaters and such.

Key words-“if they wanted” “They” and “wanted” Robert Plant has been more than clear that HE (can’t have they without he) does NOT want to do it.
There’s no denying that they are still great songwriters and musicians. But collectively, as Led Zeppelin, it just isn’t going to happen.
Yes, Robert is on tour, true, but if you look at his website, his tour is very short. I repeat, SHORT. His tour only lasts through the rest of the Fall.

Yes, he still has it in him to play live, but c’mon man….he’s almost 70 years old. How much abuse can his body, and vocal chords for that matter, take?
And I wouldn’t exactly call the tour short. It’s more being broken into stages. He just finished one leg, is taking a break, and is preparing for the next leg.

I think it’ll go like that too, but like I said, they might have more to announce, like a possible performance at the Kennedy Center, possible future album release. Things like that. People out there will never know what Led Zeppelin will have in store for us, even if everyone thinks they know what they are planning. Even if I’m wrong, I won’t be upset or disappointed, I will be cool with anything that Led Zeppelin does. I’m excited for 02 theater release and CD/DVD/Blu release as well.

What personal attack? I simply asked what on Earth possessed you to make the assumption that the Foo Fighters and Zeppelin planned a tour together, based solely on looking at tour schedules….that is just totally out there, bro.
I wasn’t assuming, just making a prediction, that they could plan something special. In that one comment, I said, “could be”. I didn’t say anything definite. Both bands could be saving the rest of the tour slots for each other in 2013.
