Arnold Schwarzenegger… did his affairs hurt his career? I say no, not at all…

There are too many critics and regular fans hating on Arnold’s book, giving it negative reviews. A lot of them say his book is a nightmare, calling him all kinds of nasty things. I’m like, really? With Arnold’s past affairs with women, people think that stuff hurt his career. It may hurt his career a little bit, but in reality, his career never really got damaged. No matter what you think of Arnie. Love him or hate him. The guy is a living legend. He’s a big deal because he changed the world of bodybuilding and helped make the sport became huge to what it is today, plus he is an iconic movie star. He is still loved and supported by many of his fans. Why do people still support him? Simply put, he inspires us all and he’s a genius. He’s the king of the entertainment industry. No matter what you think of the man. Hey may not have been a good governor and he made his mistakes in his personal life, but so fuckin’ what, ya know? Life moves on, the fans don’t care about that stuff. People still support him as a way to celebrate his career in his bodybuilding and films. People stayed loyal to him, no matter what negative things happened in his life.

I still support him. He’s an inspiration to me in bodybuilding and movies too. I’ve watched all of his movies over the years and will continue to see his upcoming films, now that he’s finally back on the big screen, where he belongs. Respect Arnold. He changed all of our lives. I’ve started reading Arnold’s book, and it’s pretty addicting. I can’t put it down. I don’t understand the bad reviews. The book is pretty inspiring stuff. Arnold, is quite an interesting guy!

I’ll give the book a full review when I finish reading it.

  1. You’re funny. You say ” he made his mistakes in his personal life, but so fuckin’ what, ya know? Life moves on, “, but when it comes to Mike Tyson, you say “once a rapist, always a rapist”.

People make mistakes and people change. It’s comical how biased you can be when it comes to those you like vs. those you don’t like.

It’s equally amusing how you made an earlier blog post that you didn’t want to read about the affairs, yet, here you are blogging it about it.

This should not be acceptable behavior because they are celebrities. Fame doesn’t give you the right to shit all over the people you claim to love.

    1. Think about it. There’s a big difference between being a rapist and being a cheater. Being a rapist is a crime and very dangerous. Being a cheater, having different affairs with many different women is no big deal. It’s not risky and it’s not against the law. Men, cheat on their wives all the time. It happens. This is why I and lots of other people still support Arnold, ’cause nobody cares about his personal life, that’s his business.

      Kev

  2. So, if you had a wife and she went out and fucked the neighbor and the mailman and the cable guy, it would be no big deal? You would be cool with that?

    1. That’s not what I’m saying, bro! Of course, cheating is wrong, if I had a girlfriend or wife, I’d be upset yes, but that doesn’t make her a bad person ’cause she cheated. It’s not like she committed a crime ’cause cheating is not really against the law. See what I mean? You can still support someone even if they haven’t been faithful to their lovers.

For example, Bill Clinton, all that Monica Lewinsky stuff back in the day. People still support Bill to this day and call him king!

People make mistakes. It’s all about putting the bad stuff behind and moving forward. Being a rapist is a different story though.

      Kev

    1. Of course, there are risks like spreading diseases and stuff like that, but there’s nothing criminal about being a womanizer. That’s my point. Banging women by force is criminal, that’s what Tyson did. Arnold didn’t do any forcing. That doesn’t make Arnold dangerous, he’s an innocent guy. You can’t compare Tyson and Arnold together. I believe kaptainhowdy was a bit out of line about that.

If you had someone in your life, like a family member or a friend, who is a flat out womanizer and cheater, would you still support him? I’m sure you would. If it was rape, then you wouldn’t want anything to do with that person.

You can’t call Arnold a bad guy for this. Bill Clinton and JFK were both womanizers, and John Edwards too.

      Kev

  3. Kev, you say that you want to get a girlfriend. Don’t think you’ll be doing yourself or a potential girlfriend any favours if she reads your thoughts on cheating. Yup there is nothing illegal about cheating, but it’s the immoral grounds you have to think about. I hope that when you do get a girl you are not cheated on, and have the decency to treat her with the same respect.

    1. I’m not saying that cheating is alright. Of course it’s wrong. I had to call out kaptainhowdy when he said this, “You’re funny. You say ” he made his mistakes in his personal life, but so fuckin’ what, ya know? Life moves on, “, but when it comes to Mike Tyson, you say “once a rapist, always a rapist”.”

I thought it was pretty offensive, which is why I approved the comment, so I can publicly call out on that.

So you guys don’t think that what Tyson did was wrong, back when he raped that 18 year old girl in ’91? Sure enough, that didn’t damage Tyson’s career either as he made a comeback to boxing, after he was paroled. People still support him after all these years too.

I’m just trying to point out that you can’t compare Arnold to Tyson.

I still support Arnold and will always support him ’cause of his bodybuilding and movies, which why I am a fan of him. When I said that Arnold being a cheater wasn’t a big deal, I’m not saying that “cheating” isn’t a big deal because it is. What I’m really referring to that Arnold being a womanizer and cheater shouldn’t matter to the fans. It shouldn’t be that big and important to the fans. His fans don’t care if he is a womanizer or a cheater or not, which is why they all stayed loyal to him. Even they know people make mistakes. They should see personal lives, being separate away from the entertainment business.

Arnold has confessed to it all publicly, on TV and in his book.People forgave him, that’s all there is to it.

      Kev

  4. I’ve read your thoughts on this before, and you certainly do have a prejudice against women that cheat, but seem to be alright with men who do it. Just because it isn’t criminal doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

    1. “Just because it isn’t criminal doesn’t mean it’s wrong.”

It’s wrong on both genders, yes, but that doesn’t make them evil and a monster of a person, which is what a lot of people are treating Arnold like. Rape is pretty bad and nasty. What does that make, Iron Mike? How come you guys are saying stuff about cheating and yet, ignoring the stuff about Iron Mike being a rapist? It really seems like you guys are defending Iron Mike, more than anything.

      Kev

  5. You have a very different, almost strange perception of reality. I would agree that cheating and rape are two very different things. You missed my point completely.

How can you say that immoral behavior does not make for a bad person? And why do you only focus on men cheating to try and defend your statements?

What if it was the other way around-Suppose Schwarzenegger and Clinton remained faithful and loyal to their wives, but their wives were the ones doing the running around and cheating with multiple affairs? Would you be saying the same thing then?

And no one is defending Tyson. What he did was wrong, but even those who commit Criminal acts can change.

Furthermore, you say ” They should see personal lives, being separate away from the entertainment business. ”

Why does that only apply to some? Ignore Arnold’s personal life, but embrace his career? But bash Tyson because of his personal life?

Sorry, but if you make a commitment to somebody, and then constantly betray that trust, that make’s you a bad person.

He’s had a dishonorable past. Cheating, steroids, he went AWOL when he was in the army, and what about all the women he groped, making unwanted advances, grabbing their breasts, reaching under their skirts. He even tried to take one woman’;s clothes off in an elevator.

He thinks he can get away with this type of dirtbag behavior because he is a celebrity. What he did was wrong. What Tyson did was wrong. Both have confessed and acknowledged what they did was wrong. Everyone deserves a second chance.

It’s what they do with that second chance that they should be judged for.

Tyson has been involved in a few bad incidents, but Schwarzenegger lived a life of deceit and broken trust, betraying his wives, family, children….

Tyson never deceived anyone. He never claimed to be something he wasn’t. With Tyson, you always new what you were getting.

    1. “Tyson never deceived anyone.”
What he did was wrong, but even those who commit Criminal acts can change.

Why don’t you try saying that stuff to the girl that Tyson raped. What was her name? Desiree Washington. This is something she have to live for, while Tyson is still out there making a name for himself in his career. I’m pretty sure, she still hates him and wants nothing to do with him. I’m sure she still wants him in prison.

“He’s had a dishonorable past.

Everyone deserves a second chance.”

For the steroid use, he admitted to using them, but he only used steroids back when he was in Austria when it was legal back in the day. On top of that, most muscle guys used steroids, so it should be no surprise to anyone. He also went AWOL in the army, so he can compete in bodybuilding. As for all the women accusing him of groping and taking their clothes off, and all that, they were just claims trying to make him look bad, there wasn’t really any truth to it. Not sure if Arnold talks about that stuff in the book, but haven’t gotten that far yet. Even if it’s true, so what, he’s a womanizer. That what guys do, they like women. What’s the crime in that? That’s what I’m trying to get through your thick heads.

As for cheaters go, they can change and learn from their lessons too.

Rape is a criminal act, that you can’t change. What’s done is done, you can’t change the past. Yep, once again, “Once a rapist, always a rapist”, I’ll stand by it.

You can get over the cheating personality though. There are always ways to make yourself a better person. Nobody cares about Arnold’s personal life. People still support him ’cause he’s the fucking man. His carer will always be on top. When he came back for the two “Expendables” movies, that’s good enough proof that he still has a very large following of fans. His somewhat dishonorable past didn’t hurt his career at all. That’s my point of this post. Just wait until his next movie, “The Last Stand” comes out, I’m sure it will be a box office hit and I’m sure his “Total Recall” book is selling good.

      Kev

  6. “Even if it’s true, so what, he’s a womanizer. That what guys do, they like women. What’s the crime in that?”

And this, Kev, is why you will never get to experience the joy of female companionship. What a very sad thing to say, my man.

    1. I won’t ever be a womanizer, cheater, or man-whore, whatever you want to call ’em. I’ll always be a strict one woman kind of guy, but if other men want to sleep around. That’s their business and doesn’t concern us.

      Kev

      1. But if you’re a guy, and that’s what guys do…

Is there something you’re not telling us?

And you certainly seem to have an obsession for things that don’t concern us.

      2. It’s funny how you say you won’t ever do these things, but you find it completely acceptable behavior. No woman in her right mind is ever going to see past that.

      3. What you guys don’t seem to understand that some men fantasize about women. It’s like an addiction to them, that they can’t help it. A sexual fantasy kind of thing. They’re so addicted to it so much, that they keep it going. If you guys knew how to comprehend, I was never saying cheating is alright to do. I repeatedly said it’s wrong. There’s nothing wrong with a guy having a sex addiction ’cause there’s many out there that do. If that’s who they want to be, that’s fine.

I like to fantasize about women myself ’cause that’s what a man does. I enjoy porn and stuff like that. I enjoy my eye candy.

If I ever settle with a woman in my life, I would stay %100 faithful.

        Kev

      4. But you’re defending his groping, molesting and fondling women, dude. Totally different. That is NOT ok.

      5. I wasn’t defending it, just being realistic. Those reports were coming from tabloids, don’t believe everything you read. Not sure if Arnold admits that stuff in his book but I haven’t gotten that far yet.

        Kev

      6. Those reports were on headline news and mainstream TV news like ABC, CBS, CNN, AP, Reuters…

        not just tabloids

      7. I’ll see if Arnold says anything about stuff in this book, I’m halfway through it.

        Kev

      8. And if Arnold doesn’t have anything to say about it, what then? It never happened? Or if he denies it, does that mean HE is the one telling the truth?

How can you trust a person that has lied so much in the past and led such a dishonorable past?

  7. Yeah…he still has fans. Just as he still has people that still think he’s just another asshole celebrity.

The only one being thickheaded here is you. What’s done is done? Sure, some people can get over cheating, but for many, cheating ruins lives and damages families. Doesn’t sound like Maria Shriver got over it. She ditched his sorry ass when she found out about it.

To call you misogynist would be a gross understatement of the term.

It’s obvious you don’t see women as people. Only as objects. How was it that you referred to Kate Middleton? Oh yeah…”a hot piece of ass”.

    1. I see women as people. I love ’em very much. I only call out the celebrity women that can be crazy and whacked. Everyone wants to see celebrity women as innocent people when you can’t be. I don’t disrespect all celebrity women. I like be real about them. Women can be evil beings, you gotta admit that sometimes.

      Kev

  8. “He also went AWOL in the army, so he can compete in bodybuilding. ”

Yet another example of abandonment those who depend on you to serve your own self interest. When you’re in the army, or any military service, your fellow comrades/soldiers very lives depend on you being there and being properly prepared.

What really makes this sad is that he only had to serve ONE YEAR!!!. One short little year and he couldn’t wait that out?

The guy’s a dirtbag. Always has been. But t least he’s a talented dirtbag.

Tyson still had great success when he got out of prison. His first fight after his release set a record for PPV sales. He’s been in movies and tv shows….so I guess people can get over rape too.

It doesn’t matter how many books you sell, or how big your box office success is that makes you a good or bad person.

It’s how you conduct yourself in life. I’m not defending Tyson. The guys a bigger loser and douche than Arnold ever was, but that certainly doesn’t mean Arnold was a saint. Neither are deserving of the respect or admiration they receive.

    1. Both of them maybe dirt bags, but that’s just an opinion. There will be those out there that will think he’s a good person ’cause people make mistakes in life. Just because you make mistakes in life, does not make you a bad person or a failure. Everybody makes mistakes and does bad things. I have. I’m sure you have. That doesn’t mean people shouldn’t be supported or respected anymore, just because they do stupid things. It’s not like Arnold committed any bad crimes. He haven’t murdered or robbed anybody. He hasn’t really been arrested for anything serious before while Tyson has been arrested for many different crimes. Tyson has a pretty long criminal record that goes way back to when he was 13 years old.

Arnold may have been arrested once when he went AWOL in the army, but his jail sentence there was very brief. He left the Army without permission ’cause he wanted to pursue his dream in bodybuilding. That doesn’t make him a bad person. What’s the harm in that? Wasn’t serious, just something small, not a big deal. That is something you can easily leave behind and move forward.

People still support Arnold ’cause they are willing to forgive him. Which is why I still support him and forgive him. Love him or hate him all you want to, his legacy will never die. Arnold is King.

      Kev

  9. I have a question for you. What is a wife accuses her husband of raping her? How do you feel about that? Serious question btw.

    1. Then I would have waited for all the facts to come in, ’cause what if she was lying just to make him look bad? A revenge kind of thing. If it’s true that he raped her, then I would have turned him in, but he’s innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.

      Kev

      1. How do you prove it? When it’s one person’s word against another. And no witnesses to the actual act.

  10. I don’t think so. Suppose they have been married for years and have kids. That’s already evidence that they have sex with each other.

How do you prove rape? The dna will just prove that a sex act took place. How do you determine that it was willing or coerced between a married couple? What if there is no evidence of violence?

    1. Rape is usually hard to prove, bro. Either witnesses, DNA samples, or a rapist confession would be the only way. On top of all this, I’m no fuckin’ detective dude. I’m sure those guys can prove it more than you and I can.

      Kev

      1. On another note, I think I’ve had it with this debate. It was interesting and fun, though. I’m off to do better things. Think I’m going to start re-watching Walking Dead Season 1-2, before 3 this Sunday.

        Kev
