There are a lot of young people
getting married in this day and age.
I mean young people like around
the 20’s – 30’s years of age.
I am 36, almost to 40 and
I’m still not married yet.
You know know what, though?
I am perfectly fine with that.
In my opinion, I think it’s a bad idea to get married at
such a young age. Why?
Because you might regret it down the road.
Marriage is a pretty serious
thing. Don’t rush it.
There is no need for it.
You don’t need to get married
to live a happy and full life.
If I were to get married one
day, I’ll make sure if it’s the right thing to
do and if she’s worth it.
I’ll make sure she’s right for me.
I won’t marry her not only because she’s beautiful.
I’ll make sure that she’ll be my best friend and
soul mate. I’ll make sure that she’ll love me for me.
Some of you may ask.
When will I get married?
The answer is, I don’t know and don’t really care.
Maybe I’ll get married in my 40’s or 50’s or never at all.
Being alone is not really all that bad. Trust me.

In “free verse/free form” poetry, there are absolutely no rules. I know what I’m doing in poetry writing. You can write in “free verse form” however damn well you please. Do your research on free verse poetry. I did a lot of reading on it and you can do that type of poetry in any format, style, double space all you want to, etc. Read Bukowski’s poems, his formats are a complete mess and that’s what makes him awesome! Don’t come here to criticize me and act like I don’t know what I’m doing. Any more of those comments on my poetry will be immediately removed.
In poetry, you need to be yourself and speak your mind. Total freedom in free verse. Don’t like the way I do my poems? Get lost.

So what if I write poems the same way I would normally write everywhere else. It’s just the way I write. It’s how my writing style is. I’m not trying to rip-off Bukowski’s writing style either. I swear and cuss ’cause that’s how I always liked to talk. I use cuss words on my blog posts and everywhere else. I use cuss words when you talk to me in person as well. That’s who I am. Stop being such an asshole. I’ll write poems how I want to.
