I’ve had my Ibanez acoustic/electric guitar for the past several years now. I think it’s time for a new acoustic. New sound. Something different. I think I’m gonna go for a different guitar brand too. Thinking of going for Washburn, Takamine or Martin. Any of those acoustics. Maybe in the beginning of 2014, I think I’ll start saving for a new one. I’m thinking of going for a real acoustic. Not the ones with the built-in electronics on it. I don’t think I’ll order one from a catalog next time either. I’m probably gonna go get one from an actual guitar shop like Parkway ’cause it’s better buying guitars from the shop instead of catalogs. You can’t really trust getting musical gear from guitar catalogs. The goal is, I want to get a real acoustic tone for folk songs and finger style. My Ibanez acoustic/electric maybe great for a rock n’ roll sound but for folk music, not what I’m looking for.
