Original song: Speak A Little Loudly

Another new original. Spent all day recording this. Think I got the vocals to sound better this time around. I think what happened the last time is that I was singing pretty close to the mic and I had to back away from it. Should sound much better for you this time, I hope.

Enjoy this new song called, “Speak A Little Loudly”. As you can hear I’m going nuts with my own backup vocals… so much fun to do! I’ll be doing a lot of that for my songs.

Lyrics here:

“Speak A Little Loudly”

Ooooh, where do you think you’re going?
I’m not done with you yet.
OOooh, please don’t stop this discussion…
and you didn’t win.

CHORUS:
Can you speak a little loudly?
I didn’t quite hear you.
Can you settle down a little?
I don’t quite fear you.
Lets just get along.

Ooooh, I see you ain’t done yet.
You just won’t give up.
Ooooh, please stop right now.
You just just keep going.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
Would you give up?
You have nothing to say.
Think I pretty much won
because you’re walking away.

Repeat Chorus 2x’s

OOooohhh, speak a little loudly (repeatedly ’til fade)

  1. I’ll admit that I struggled on the vocals a bit at the end of the second verse but not too bad. I’m still PROUD of how this song came out.

    1. Thanks man. Yeah, I’ve been working hard on the singing. I think I’ve gotten much better at it. Hard work pays off!

    1. Thanks, dude. Yeah, I told ya. I’m a HUGE Neil Young fan. He’s a huge inspiration for my songwriting. You can tell I’ve been listening to a lot of Neil Young.

  2. I’m planning to release an internet exclusive album in 2014. I’m planning to come up with a cover for it, a title, and do a photoshoot for it. Now I can make good sounding music… I figure I would release a homemade internet only album… free for the internet, of course. I’ll let everybody listen to each song first and then I’ll pick a release date to make ’em all downloadable. More news as I think of ’em… stay tuned…

    1. I just saw this guy’s video about harmony singing and it’s pretty useful stuff. I’ll have to learn how to do harmony singing ’cause it can be pretty useful for my songs. I really wanna take my singing to the next level.
