One of the toughest things about being part of the musicians community is that you’re gonna have to deal with so much dishonesty with everybody. You will go through a lot of musicians who will pretend to like you when they really don’t. You will go through a lot of musicians who pretend to like your music when they really don’t. There are so much dishonest musicians and you can’t trust any of them out there. Why do musicians pretend to be nice? Why is it when musicians decide they won’t like you anymore they’ll start admitting they never liked you and your music later on? If you’re a musician, I’m sure you go through the same bullshit yourself.

Why do musicians do this? I think they fake it as being a supporter of yours ’cause if they publicly talked trash to you, they know it would hurt their professionalism. That’s pretty much it. They pretend to be nice ’cause they are nice. When they start talking trash at you all of a sudden, it’s not you… they are just showing their true colors. You just proved that these guys can be assholes. There is a lot of assholes in the musicians community, that fact can’t be denied.

The last thing you wanna do is care about anybody’s drama. These guys will try their best to tell me that I’m nothing. They’ll tell me that nobody likes me or my music. You can tell that musicians don’t really like you even though they pretend to show it. There is so much drama and negativity in the musicians community. I know you’re probably sick of me saying this but once again, “jealousy” and “ego” is always a part of why feuds break out between musicians.

Some of these guys like to make me feel like I’m not welcomed and they don’t think I’m talented enough. I’m pretty used to being told that by other musicians by now but you know what? That’s okay. I think they do these things ’cause musicians are hoping that I fail at music. They don’t want to see me succeed and move forward. I think jealousy is a “small” part of it ’cause they’ve seen me improve musically over the years.

1) I’ve gotten better with my singing and got a lot more range than before

2) I’ve gotten a lot better with rhythm guitar and improved my timing with the metronome

3) Gotten better with the songwriting

The more you improve and the more you get better as a musician, the more angry and jealous others get.

Once again, I do music for me and still play music for the small following that I do have. There are people who really do like my music out there and I’m always honored for that.

Wait until you hear my upcoming internet album that I’ve been sitting on. I’m very proud of these songs. It’s coming along well. Got 7 songs for it so far and still got more writing to do. Been writing like crazy.

As far as critics go, you wanna make ’em jealous and angry. When they do, that says something about your talent so you’re okay and all good. If you really sucked, then you wouldn’t be getting all of these mixed responses right?
