While Garth Brooks is going through a lot of legal trouble through his cancelled shows in Dublin, the country legend just announced a new album and world tour which is good to hear. So Garth is officially out of his so-called retirement?
Not only that, there is also a new surprise. Head on over to his website and tell me what you see…
There you see the word, “digital” on his website and below it you see a countdown. Is Garth’s discography of albums finally headed to Itunes???? If he’s still gonna avoid Itunes like the plague where else would he upload his music digitally? I hope he’s going to Itunes ’cause that would be cool. I would like to get his albums again. I used to collect his albums a long time ago but I think I got rid of ’em.
I like Garth’s music ’cause not only that he’s big time country, he also adds a lot of rock n’ roll into it. So he’s a mix of country rock.
He’s just one of the very few country artists that I like. Other country artists I like are Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams Sr., Clint Black and maybe a little Brooks & Dunn. I also dig a little Reba and Dolly, you know who they are. I’m not all that big on country music but I do like some of it.

I use Amazon for my digital music purchases. Possibly he will go there.
Hopefully it will be more than just itunes. Don’t they realize they’re cutting off half their audience when they choose one side exclusively over the other?
From what I heard Garth is uploading his catalog of music to his official website which means he gets to price his albums at whatever he chooses. I have a feeling his downloads are gonna be a bit pricey.
When his new album comes out, I’ll buy it on CD instead of digitally. Then I’ll throw it on my Ipod.
Look like Garth is still avoiding Itunes. Ah well. It’s his music so he does what he wants with it, I guess.
Kev
I don’t blame him. itunes takes 30%. Not sure about google or Amazon.
Garth says he doesn’t have anything against Itunes. He likes the company ’cause he’s friends with them and he gets along with them well; however… Garth has his own way of doing things.
Kev
Anyhow, if Garth ever decided to go to Itunes and have a change of heart with it… Garth would be a huge seller there for sure. Garth is an icon and a legend. He’s extremely popular and still is. I’m sure his new album will be an instant No. 1 album on the Billboard and I’m sure all of his concerts will be a quick sellout. I’m pretty sure Garth still got it!
