L7, an all-female grunge/metal band to reunite after a 14 year hiatus…

I used to love that band, L7, the all female grunge/metal/punk group. They disappeared from the industry for a while and looks like they are about to make a comeback for a few festival shows overseas and they’re releasing a documentary. Look like they’re about to announce a full tour soon.

To those who were around throughout the 90’s of the music industry would probably remember who they were and I’m sure there are many today who don’t remember or don’t even know who they were. It is now time to remind people who they were as they are officially reuniting. They were a big part of the 90’s grunge movement.

Hopefully, they have a new album planned as well ’cause that would be cool.

I used to have their album “Hungry For Stink” on CD a long time ago and used to listen to it all the time. I’ll have to re-buy that album from Itunes ’cause I don’t have the album anymore. Must of got rid of it. “Hungry For Stink” is a killer album, listen to it below. I’m listening to the album right now as I type this and forgot how great of an album it was.

Can’t wait to see Donita Sparks and the girls back on the stage!!! Gonna be awesome. \m/

  1. While I am not going to bash your likes or dislikes, I will say that BRICKS ARE HEAVY stands not just heads and shoulders but MOUNTAINS above HUNGRY in terms of quality. And that isn’t just my opinion either: check just about anywhere, and you will see that listed as their crowning achievement. If you haven’t heard it already, I highly recommend it. The album sounds great, courtesy of Butch Vig, the drummer for Garbage and the man behind such classics as NEVERMIND, GISH, SIAMESE DREAM, Chainsaw Kittens’ FLIPPED OUT IN SINGAPORE, and Sonic Youth’s DIRTY.
