Sad news today that founding and longtime member of the Allman Brothers band’s drummer, Butch Trucks just passed away. Pretty bummed about this ’cause he’s definitely one of the most talented drummers in rock. He has been with the Brothers from the very start. He has been with the Brothers since the late 60’s until the band’s final shows at the Beacon Theater in 2014. Then the band broke up after; however, Butch continued to play music with Butch Trucks & Very Special Friends and another band called, Butch Trucks & The Freight Train Band. Thanks for the music, Butch and RIP.
