I love the Buck Rogers character and Frank Miller is a perfect choice for the project. I’m also looking forward to seeing “The Spirit” which I will see sometime after Christmas.

Nu Image/Millenium has acquired the film rights to “Buck Rodgers” a popular fictional story that got it’s start in the 1920’s in radio, then made it’s way to comics, TV, movies, etc. The TV series had two different actors play Buck Rogers, Gil Gerard and Buster Crabbe.
Nu Image/Millenium’s company owner Avi Lerner won the rights from the suriving family members who run the Dille Trust company. Frank Dille was the creator of the Buck Rogers series. Disney used to own the rights to the Buck Rogers character but the Dille family won the rights from Disney.

I have always been a huge fan of the Buck Rogers series. I’d say bring the film on!
I hope they don’t mess this one up and hope they choose a good actor to play Buck.
