Report: Long Island teenagers brings Grand Theft Auto IV to real life…

A gang of six teens in Long Island, New York decided to go on a major crime spree, to impersonate Nico Belic a character from the “Grand Theft Auto IV” game. The kids decided to do the same things that Nico Belic has done in the game, everything including car jacking, beating up innocent civilians in the streets for no reason,  and even breaking into stores.

Just a bunch of bored teens hanging at New Hyde Park in Long Island decided to bring Grand Theft Auto IV into town. It took police at least two hours to catch all the teens.

The New York Post reports:

Come on kids, I’ve said once before and will say it again! DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME! It’s only a game! Just because you can successfully escape from cops in the videogame, does not mean you can do it in real life. That’s why the kids do it in real life to see if they can try to escape police in real life just like in the videogame. Now those kids who just did this are looking at a 20 year prison sentence. Don’t ruin your life over a videogame.

Thought: “God Of War: Chains of Olympus” brief review…

So I’ve been playing the videogame “God of War: Chains of Olympus” for the small PSP Sony handheld system. I’m at the very end of the game already, I just need to defeat a bunch of enemies before I head to the final and last boss. Most of this game was pretty easy and simple but the end of the game has gotten very tough and such a pain in the ass.

I would like to say that this game is absolutely amazing though, it’s one of the best action/adventure games I ever played. It tells a great story. So much fun to play with cool weapons and cool moves. This game is only available for the PSP for now, I’m sure they’ll make a version for the PS3/Xbox down the road.

If they do make a version for the PS3, I would still buy the same game ’cause I would sure like to play this on a bigger TV screen. I was hoping to beat this game before Grand Theft Auto IV comes out but it looks like I’m not going to. Grand Theft Auto IV comes out tomorrow. Thankfully I have a day off of work tomorrow, so I will go to Saratoga to go to Best Buy.

I have a feeling that Best Buy will be mobbed and packed like hell. Because April 29th is a big release day with Grand Theft Auto IV, Madonna’s “Hard Candy”, and Neil Diamond’s new album. I hope and pray that Grand Theft Auto IV won’t be sold everywhere once I get to Best Buy and the Wilton Mall, that will suck and I would be pissed if it’s sold out that quick. I’m gonna try to get to Best Buy as early as possible though hopefully before the store even opens. I’m sure there’ll be a line of people waiting for the store to open anyways.

Thought: “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories”…

After weeks and weeks, I’ve finally completed and beat the game “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City” stories. It’s really a pretty simple game to play really. What I like about the game the most that you get to fly in helicopters a lot. “Vice City Stories” tells a story about two brothers named Vic and Lance Vance who go on an all out war against the mob named The Mendez brothers. In the game, you play the character of Vic Vance. Most of the missions of the game is pretty easy but there’s a few difficult ones that were very challenging to get through. I feel relieved that I’ve finally completed the game.

I’ve just started playing “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider Anniversary” and that game is way cool as well. No wonder this Lara Croft character is such a hit, she’s pretty sexy in the game!

I only like to play videogames at night since I don’t watch much TV. I’m playing the games on the PSP handheld, trying to beat all these games that I bought from the store. I’m only playing one game at a time ’cause I’m the type of guy that once I start something, I finish it to the end. I’m like that with everything in life.

The reason I’ve gotten into videogames now is that I don’t collect movies on DVD much anymore (I only buy the movies I like that I see in theater).

The Playstation is a better brand than Xbox and the Nintendo systems in my opinion. I just think the Playstation has a better selection of games. The Playstation has my Grand Theft Auto and Tomb Raider games that you can’t get on other systems, it’s the reason I got a PSP and the PS3 both.

Thought: Phil Collins in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories game…

I was just playing “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City” stories and I’m at the very end of the game, I have 5 more missions left of it. Phil Collins is an animated character in the videogame and I was thinking if the voice overs of Phil Collins was really done by him.

So I went googling some research information to see if it was done by him.

To my surprise, Phil Collins the man himself is the one doing the voice over playing himself in “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories” videogame.

Here’s an old news story about it before the game even came out back in 2006, it was first released for the Playstation 2, I believe.

It is confirmed that Phil Collins is the first celebrity to appear in a videogame to play himself. In “GTA: Vice City Stories”, you have to save Phil’s life from getting killed by the mob, it happens in the missions “In the Air Tonight” part 1 and 2 in the videogame.

It is a great videogame. I’m also looking forward to playing “Grand Theft Auto IV” when it comes out to the PS3 on April 28th.
