You see plenty of pictures of Jaliek Rainwalker, the child who is missing for 15 years… but you don’t see video footage of him. Finally, the group that I’m a part of “Justice For Jaliek Rainwalker” in FB got some video footage of Jaliek himself… sent to us by a user in the group who gave us permission to make them public.
This footage was first featured in “Rainwalker: The Lost Boy” podcast, now this footage is starting to get out everywhere.
Everybody just needs to see what a happy and good kid that he was, as you can see Jaliek looks like he’s having the time of his life and having a blast. I’ve seen more in different angles and they are all amazing and mind blowing, here are a few for now.
Enjoy. We aren’t going away and I’m never gonna give up on Jaliek.
I know I haven’t posted on here in ages but I thought I would come here to give this podcast a little plug. The Times Union started doing a podcast series about the Jaliek Rainwalker disappearance titled “Rainwalker: The Lost Boy”. This podcast gave my blogging a little plug so I’m giving them a little plug in return.
There will be 7 episodes of this podcast but so far there are only two episodes out. I listened to both of them and it’s a very well done podcast so far.
15 years of missing Jaliek and this podcast will be a helpful reminder that we aren’t going away. We all want “Justice For Jaliek” even I do.
You can listen to the podcast here and it’s also available to listen to wherever you listen to podcasts: Spotify, Apple, etc.
The Jaliek Rainwalker missing child case has been going on for 14 years… it may seem pretty quiet right now but not really. While I can’t talk about all the things going on behind the scenes of the Jaliek Rainwalker case, what I am allowed to talk about publicly now is that the case has been handed over to the New York State Police aka the NYSP. Yes, you heard that right, New York State Police Troop G is now fully leading the investigation. The NYSP has been investigating this case for a while now. When Chief George Bell passed on, there was no one leading the case until now.
There’s lots of “good” things happening right under our noses when I’m sure most of you don’t even realize. Again, I can’t talk about most of the stuff happening as we continue to investigate behind the scenes and very “low” key. I work on the case along with a group of people and we all work on the case with the “Cold Case Analysis Center” for the College Of St. Rose. We work with a professional college professor who works on “missing persons” cases. The Cold Case Center professor works very closely with the NYSP on this case as well.
We’re now allowed to talk about the NYSP investigating the Jaliek Rainwalker case ’cause they want to go public with it finally and they want us to announce it. So I’m honored to be the one to announce the NYSP Troop G has taken the case.
If you come across this blog post and if you happen to have any information at all about the missing person case Jaliek Rainwalker, I don’t care about big or how small the info is, even the smallest info helps… contact the NYSP in the link here…. Troop G – Zone 2.
Some of you may look at this blog post and say, “this guy is full of crap”… well I am telling you, the NYSP being in full charge 100% of the Jaliek investigation is the real deal. You’ll find out soon enough when the local news media start picking up on it.
Well, I’ll tell you something I’m in 100% support of this, NYSP taking the lead and I trust they’ll do a very good job and help get the “closure” this case desperately needs. This case has been open for 14 years and it’s still an ongoing investigation even to this day. It doesn’t matter how long ago it happened, Jaliek’s life matters and he deserves his justice. We aren’t going away until Jaliek is found and this person or persons (if more than one did it) are all locked up and behind bars. Jaliek did not run away and we all know someone or some people did it.
This is not an accusatory post at a certain someone ’cause I’m sure we all know who’s responsible and we all know who did it (the crime), the announcement post is about Jaliek and the NYSP. The NYSP is a pretty big deal.
If you’re new to this case and want to learn more about the facts and circumstances surrounding it, the case is just a google away. There’s plenty of podcasts and videos that will educate you pretty well on it. Do your research on it.
One day Jaliek will get his long overdue justice and those responsible will be held accountable. We aren’t going away and we won’t quit. I’ll never turn my back on Jaliek no matter what anyone says or thinks. Believe it or not, he still has plenty of family and friends that still care and love him, this is why we do what we do.
We’re working extremely hard to get to the bottom of this case and get long overdue “closure”. It’s a slow and difficult battle but the fight for Jaliek will never stop . It ain’t over until it’s over.
A 19 year old girl, Kristin Smart disappeared years ago way back in 1996 and a guy named Paul Flores is a long time “person of interest” who has now been named “prime Suspect” in her disappearance. Now police dug up a search warrant to do a long overdue search at the parents of Paul Flores’s home in hopes of finding Kristin Smart’s remains. Why would they want to find Kristin’s remains at Paul’s parents home? Well, it’s looking more and more likely that Paul’s parents could be protecting their son and helping to cover up the murder of Kristin to keep him out of prison. It’s been suspected for years that she’s been buried in the backyard of their home.
Paul Flores is being pointed out ’cause he was the last person to see her alive, he helped her to her dorm room after a party.
If you want to learn more about the Kristin Smart case, listen to the Chris Lambert podcast about this case titled “Your Own Backyard” or something like that.
It’s a pretty serious search. They’re using cadaver dogs and ground penetrating radars, everything. They got the whole property yellow taped.
This could take several days or all week to search the entire property from top to bottom ’cause as you can see it’s kind of a big property. If she’s not there, then they are hiding something. If the search ends up into another dead end, then they probably moved her remains somewhere else. Like most, I’m hoping she’s there and she’s probably in the backyard like many speculated and theorized. I’ve got that hunch myself that she’s probably there.
I’m looking at the image of the home and she could be anywhere there and I’m pointing my fingers on that cement on the ground behind that garage. If she’s under that cement in the backyard it could take forever to dig her out. It won’t be easy to get skeletal remains out of there. They have to be careful not to break the bones and not get fingerprints on anything. If they find a skeleton there, it could take days to identify her to make sure it’s really her and stuff.
I’m praying this is the end of it like most. I’m pretty sure Paul and his parents are nervous as hell right now, I’m sure. Well Paul’s day is coming.
It doesn’t matter how long ago a person’s disappearance was… we can’t just move on and forget it… they all deserve their justices, they all deserve closure.
The same thing for Jaliek Rainwalker. Of course, I immediately thought of him when this news of Kristin Smart got out there today. This is what I want done for Jaliek. The Hill St. home of Jaliek in Greenwich has been searched before but I want a much deeper search there with cadaver dogs and ground penetrating radar, everything. Hopefully the same will happen with Jaliek real soon and that’s what we’re all hoping for.
You should listen to the “Your Own Backyard” podcast, it’s good stuff. Lets hope they find something there this week. I’ll be keeping an eye out for this news.
For 12 years, the Jaliek Rainwalker missing child’s case got some local attention but most of the local news media has been quiet about Jaliek for a long while. Now the case has finally gone national and mainstream thanks to the A&E channel who is doing a series about missing people titled “Vanished” which you can exclusively watch on FB.
I really like how the case has blown up online and now the case has finally caught the attention of national crime shows. A&E is a cable TV network that does a lot of Facebook Watch stuff too. I’m sure this episode will be aired on cable TV as well.
I think the case has now gone somewhat viral almost which is good. The bigger Jaliek’s voice gets, the more pressure it gets put on Stephen and Jocelyn as they are seen and talked about in this video above.
I think most of us came to an agreement that Stephen & Jocelyn both had something to do with Jaliek’s disappearance. I’m not changing my view on that. No proof but watch the video above… everything leads back to them so you can’t help but think they did it.
If they were really “passionate” about finding their son then why would they move to Vermont, lawyer up and not cooperate with police? If they were innocent then they would do everything they can to get the police off their backs by actually cooperating with them. They don’t ask for the public’s help and they don’t talk to anyone looking for Jaliek. They have nothing to hide? They can move on and keep on smiling all they want to but Jaliek will be found and the truth will come out on its own.
Jaliek’s voice is getting huge which is good and it’s what we want… hoping this will help get someone to come forward with additional information.
Some people may look at me as if I’m some sort of hero in all this but how? I’m just a normal person wanting answers like most people. I want Justice for Jaliek like most. I’m not into this for attention, recognition or hero status of any kind. I just want answers and closure like most. I want Jaliek brought home and in his proper burial place where he belongs ’cause this family just threw him away and they continued to act like he never existed after that.
Someday Jaliek will be found and there will be justice. Someday it will be all over but the sooner the better, though. Stephen & Jocelyn think they got away with it but they will get caught somehow. Hopefully 2020 will be the year… we just have to wait I guess.
Adoptive Mom of Jaliek Rainwalker posts family photo publicly on social media but she doesn’t mention Jaliek’s name at all. There is no, “We love you Jaliek… we miss you and we wish you were here with us” at all.
Social media activity with adopted family online but they don’t bring up his name at all. None of them asks for the public’s help to find that kid. The other kids are all on social media too… they are full grown adults but they don’t ask for the public’s help to find Jaliek either.
Why? Is it the adoptive parents way of not getting caught? They say they have nothing to hide? Hmmmmm????
This family can go on with their lives and not have a care for Jaliek all they want to but the rest of us will never forget Jaliek. If they won’t find him then we will somehow and someway, justice is coming.
When a family has a missing kid, you don’t move out of state and go on smiling. Most parents in the United States who has a missing kid would do everything under the sun to find him/her but you don’t see this family doing that.
This family cares about Jaliek???? Please… not from what I’m seeing.
Some may wonder why it’s taking so long for the police to make an arrest or arrests (if more people were involved that is) in the Jaliek Rainwalker case… I used to be disappointed in our police department on why it’s taking so long but after Don Lehman’s latest article about the Rainwalker case, I can now understand why it’s taking so long.
After a kid goes missing, you can’t just arrest the adoptive father with not enough evidence. While it’s definitely possible to arrest someone who is a “person of interest” in a missing persons case without a body, it’s still a pretty risky thing to do. Think about it… when you arrest the adoptive father, the jury could let him walk at trial with not enough evidence and after he walks completely unscathed, the police department could be sued by him. That’s why the D.A. here, Tony Jordan says they only got one shot. They just want to take their time and make sure everything is right. They want to get to the bottom of EVERYTHING.
Straight from the article here:
Cases for murder or first-degree kidnapping, equal to second-degree murder in state Penal Law, can be brought without discovery of a missing person’s remains. But Jordan said a much stronger case can be made when a body is found.
“We have to make sure everything is covered, because we only get one shot at it (a prosecution),” he said.
So I guess, the best way to make an arrest and prosecution is to wait for the police to find the body/remains where ever it is. Some may want to believe that Jaliek maybe alive (ya never know) but there is no evidence and no sign of him being alive still. The adoptive father and the family claims he is alive and they’re still trying to make it seem like he ran away to join a gang or live with a black family but they haven’t proven that. Chief Bell tried to ask them to prove that Jaliek is alive but they haven’t yet.
Jaliek is mostly likely dead ’cause if he was still alive then Jaliek would have turned up a long time ago. We all continue to believe that Jaliek is most likely dead ’cause it seems that the adoptive family have something to hide… ya know…
Moving to Vermont while all this is going on
Lawyering up and going after everyone looking for Jaliek
They avoid talking to people who is looking for Jaliek like the plague
They threatened to sue the police after “allowing” them to search their Greenwich home
They refused to let the police compare their gold van that was seen on the surveillance video that was seen at a Greenwich local bank.
If Jaliek is alive and they think he will “return” home like the lawyer keeps saying then why do they do all that listed above? Some people wants to believe everything what the adoptive parents lawyer tells them in the local press and it sickens me, ya know. There is a whole public debate about this case. Some people want to side with the adoptive father and defend him and stuff. I think their lawyer is corrupt to the core and very dishonest. He’s a very bad lawyer for sure. He is definitely a huge liar and isn’t to be trusted at all. So don’t believe everything that man says, everyone. He’s just being paid a lot of money to “lie” and keep them out of jail, that is all. The lawyer claims the family is doing all they can to find him but I assure you, they aren’t doing shit and they don’t care about Jaliek one freakin’ bit. Them moving to Vermont is all you need to know. Why would parents move out of state in a missing child’s investigation? When a kid goes missing, you don’t MOVE out of state… you need to stay put ’cause what if he does turn up and he finds out his parents have gone out of state? Only people with something to hide does that.
I really believe this case is solvable and everything will come to light soon. Like I said in a post before, the truth will always come out. This family can go on about their lives as if none of this is happening all they want to but they will get handcuffs on them soon enough. It’ll be over pretty soon.
I really care about the kid like everyone else since I live in Greenwich and I want all this to be over myself. I think it soon will be. The police just needs to find the body and I think they will.
I’m going to give the police more time and be patient… let them do their job. Everybody else should have patience too. Trust the police, y’all. They know what they’re doing. The police cares about Jaliek just as much as we all do. They’re right they only got one shot at “prosecution”. Some want to criticize the police for going after the adoptive family but this isn’t really about that family… this is about “justice for Jaliek”. That’s all we want really. We want peace for Jaliek and that’s all we really care about. We just want his body/remains found and for him to be buried properly. Those responsible in his murder should be locked up too, though, they still need to be held accountable.
I kept an eye on the case ever since it happened and it never left my mind. Never forget Jaliek. I never will. Justice will be coming whether you like it or not.
I’ve been following the Jaliek Rainwalker missing persons case ever it happened. This case never left my mind and I never forgot. I’ve been following this case ever it happened back in 2007 and still follow it today. Even though local media outlets don’t report this case all that much over the years, there are still a lot of people talking about it. I’ve noticed that this case has gotten bigger and more well-known online. This case has caught the attention of a lot of true crime and missing person bloggers so they started doing podcasts and vlogs on the case. I’ve heard quite a few podcasts about the Jaliek Rainwalker case and seen quite a few video blogs about it in youtube. Out of everything I’ve seen and heard about the case this is the best video I’ve seen.
This vlogger Danelle Hallan did an excellent job researching all the facts that were known online. Most vloggers and podcasters who did stuff about the case leave a lot of stuff out but this woman didn’t. Danelle Hallan pretty much nailed everything.
Unfortunately, though, there’s still not a lot of info about the Jaliek Rainwalker case. All the facts you want to know about would take a quick and easy google search. There’s no other info about the Jaliek story than what you see through google and youtube. This case is still a mystery sadly.
I agree that this case is a heartbreaker. It’s not only heartbreaking, it’s also very scary.
There are some out there that believe that the adopted father didn’t have anything to do with Jaliek’s disappearance. There are some that believe the adopted father did have something to do with it. There are mixed reactions and opinions to this case.
I’m still sticking with the theory that the adopted father DID have something to do with the disappearance of Jaliek. I totally agree with most people that the father does have something to hide. Is he hiding something criminal? To those that believe that the father had nothing to do with anything then:
Why would the family move out of state while all this is going on?
Why would they hide behind a lawyer?
Why would they threaten to sue law enforcement after they searched their home?
Why have they stopped cooperating with law enforcement and local news media outlets?
Why do they avoid talking to people looking for Jaliek like the plague?
They have nothing to hide hey? Also, the adoptive father and adoptive mother pretends to care about searching for Jaliek but they don’t care about him one freakin’ bit. They are not even searching for him. A real parent would have done everything in their power to look for their missing kid like staying home and not move out of state. Moving out of state during a missing persons investigation was the dumbest move they could do. I mean, what if Jaliek does turn up in Greenwich and Jaliek finds out they moved out of state? What do you think Jaliek would feel if he turned up and they’re not here? You don’t see the adoptive family asking for the public’s help in search of Jaliek. You don’t see them joining us in our search. That’s all we want to do is find him and look for answers but the adoptive parents seems to get upset at people looking for him. They have nothing to hide, hey? Fucking please! They’re not looking for him at all. When you see their lawyer claiming they’re doing all they can, don’t listen to him ’cause it’s a flat out lie. They pay their shady lawyer a lot of money to lie for them and protect them.
11 years and this case still hasn’t been solved. Why? I blame the law enforcement for one ’cause I think they did a lousy job with this case. Law enforcement is not tough enough as they appear to be. I think they could have done a better job and this case would have been over a long time ago. Another reason is that their lawyer is doing all they can to keep them out of jail. Trying to keep them from getting locked up.
I’m glad to see that this case has gotten bigger online. The more people know about this case, the merrier. We need as much people as we can talking about this case ’cause the more people talk about it, the more pressure it keeps on the adoptive parents.
Why aren’t the adoptive parents locked up yet? I totally believe both of them are responsible. Yes, the adoptive mother seems to be involved in something. They should be in jail but nope. They are still out there being all happy happy joy joy and enjoying their lives. They need to be held accountable and be locked up. I hope they enjoyed their Christmas. Hopefully next year they’ll spend Christmas inside a prison cell.
We will not move on from this case until Jaliek is found. Jaliek deserves his justice. We want justice for Jaliek and that’s what we care about most.
The video above is kind of long but worth a listen. Trust me.
Yes, the topic of whether or not Casey Anthony is guilty of murdering her own daughter, still continues to be the most talked about topic online. This discussion is everywhere, twitter and facebook. Most people think she’s guilty and think she’s got away with it. Of course, there are always going to be some supporters who think she’s innocent and will defend her no matter what people say.
Some people think it can’t be possible that murderers can have a “perfect” murder and get away with it, but yes, it can happen.
So you may ask, how could she get away with it?
I have a few observations of how she might have gotten away with it. Read up and learn.
Casey threw out most of the important evidence that would have proved her guilt – All the evidence in the trial wasn’t all of it. I just know there was a lot more than that. She either threw out most of it, hid the rest of it somewhere or burned it.
Casey had help with family & friends to cover up her crime – Could George be lying when he said he didn’t sexually abuse Casey Anthony when she was a child? Cindy was the one who called 911 to report Caylee missing and she was also the one to report to police that there could be a dead body in the car, when Caylee’s remains were actually in the wooded area by the Anthony home.
Casey found a way to damage DNA evidence – What made the jurors find her not guilty was that the trial could not find any DNA evidence. She had to be looking on google for “chloroform” for this reason? Chloroform is a chemical that helps isolates DNA.
Casey is just a good liar and expert manipulator – Enough said?
Casey could have used black leather gloves – A lot of killers would use leather gloves so fingerprints wouldn’t get on anything.
Casey paid good lawyers – She must of got really good laywers if they were able to make her a free woman.
That’s about all I can think of. Hopefully they don’t give up and continue to find ways to give Casey what she deserves. Prison time and death penalty. They’ll get her again someday, it’s only a matter of time.
Casey Anthony will be released from jail this coming Wednesday. The judge sentenced her today for 4 years and a $1,000 fine for lying to police officers, but due to the 3 years past she served, they did a calculation of credit of the time she had left.
