Patrick Carney explains himself on why he’s all over Justin Bieber on twitter…

I love these tweets by Patrick:

-“Tmz threw a camera in my face. Justin bieber said he wanted to slap me. His fans called me a fag for days. I mocked it. Didn’t ask for it.”

-“I still think there are way more bands that deserve grammy’s way before Justin Bieber and us. Led Zeppelin, the Who, Captain Beefheart etc.”

-“I worked hard and did what I love and after all this my reward is tmz. a million 12 yr olds call me a fag for speaking my mind. Perfect. Sow”

Patrick is so right that he didn’t start this drama at all. You know what’s also funny, is that celebrities are always getting in trouble for using gay slurs like “fag” and stuff, but look at all those tweets by those Beliebers he’s been retweeting. How come you don’t see the media busting on the Beliebers, and how come you don’t see GLAAD calling them out for using gay slurs? It seems everyone is siding with Justin and people think Patrick is the badguy here.

Oh please! *rolls eyes*

If Patrick wants to believe that Justin doesn’t deserve a Grammy or doesn’t deserve to be there, that’s his opinion and he has that right. People attack Patrick for this ’cause that’s how the media works. That’s how today’s industry is, with the internet and all that. People think he’s a bully just for being honest.

On top of that, Patrick brings up a valid point, that there are other bands & artists, that deserve a lot of Grammy spotlight before Justin Bieber came around. Patrick is not being the egomaniac ’cause he even thinks that other bands deserve Grammy’s more than the Black Keys.

I think Patrick’s goal and what he’s trying to do here, is that he wants a change to the industry. Today’s industry seems to be all about Justin Bieber, the Kardashians, Snooki, etc. getting the spotlight, and Patrick is hating it. He just wants other talented people with real talent who are more deserving. I think that’s the whole point of what Patrick is trying to do here. Patrick is not doing this for attention, he’s fighting for a change in the industry. He has that right to do that if he wants to.

If we have the right to speak our mind about music all we want to, why can’t Patrick, right? Freedom of speech works both ways.

Another Patrick vs. Justin thought…

Ya know, while it may seem pretty mean and funny that Patrick is picking on the Beliebers, the good thing about that is, that it shows how much of a douchebag Justin and his Beliebers can be. The language on all those kids, wow. I can see why Patrick finds this funny ’cause I would too. Patrick can’t help himself and I can’t see him stopping anytime soon. I’m gonna be following this feud, ’cause I’m interested to seeing it how it will go. I can’t stay off Patrick’s twitter page for some reason. It’s entertaining stuff!

Patrick Carney pretending to be Justin Bieber now…

LOL! Patrick is pretty obsessed with the Beliebers. He better be careful though, ’cause Patrick could be hearing from Justin’s lawyers soon. The reason for the “verified” account icon is to help avoid confusion with the impersonators, so you can tell it is the celeb’s official twitter account. Well Patrick’s twitter is verified, so this will cause confusion even more, which is the point. He should be extra careful ’cause he might get his twitter shut down for impersonating under a verified account.

While this is funny stuff, he shouldn’t drag this on. He should back off and concentrate on the music with the Black Keys. I wonder how Dan Auerbach is feeling about this? Hope this doesn’t get Patrick booted from the band.

See Patrick’s twitter, here.

Now that I think about it, I think I’ll side with Patrick Carney after all, and here is why…

When TMZ caught up with Patrick Carney, the Black Keys drummer, and asked him about Justin Bieber not attending the Grammy’s, Patrick responded with this, “I dunno, he’s rich, right? Grammys are for, like, music, not for money. . . . He’s making a lot of money. He should be happy.”

It angered a lot of Bieber fans (better known as Beliebers). Later Justin replied to him by saying he needs to be slapped around, with a “hahaha”, at the end of the sentence. It wasn’t really a threat, he was just having fun and joking around himself, that explains why he put the “hahaha”, at the end of it, so people wouldn’t take it serious. Sure enough, the Beliebers are hating on Patrick Carney, calling him the bully. They saw what Patrick said about Justin Bieber not being at the Grammy’s, was an attack.
What Patrick means by his comment, was that he wasn’t trying to imply that Justin didn’t deserve to be there at the Grammy’s. What Patrick was originally saying, was that Justin Bieber is too rich enough that people shouldn’t care whether or not he should be there. That’s what he meant by “he should be happy”. What Patrick said, really wasn’t an attack or a bash. It wasn’t threatening or bullying at all. He tried not to make it sound hateful. It was just an honest opinion.
Patrick really doesn’t have anything personal against Justin himself or the Beliebers. Look at Patrick’s twitter page. While Patrick has been replying to the Beliebers attacking him, Patrick tries his best to make his responses to them not so hateful, so he tries to make his responses humorous, and he also puts sad faces to their tweets. Patrick is not bullying the Beliebers at all, he’s just having fun and joking around with them. Patrick seems amazed at the kind of response he’s getting from the Beliebers. I can’t blame him. If I was in that situation, I would love it too if so many Beliebers were attacking me and hating on me. It would be awesome! This is how Patrick is feeling. He becomes addicted to it.
I’m sure Patrick is grown up enough and I’m sure he’s professional acting in the music business, it’s just that the paparazzi thing got way out of hand.
I realize, I’m doing a little flip flopping here, but after thinking about it here, Patrick do no wrong. The TMZ website, asked him a question, he answered it, and sure enough, the internet is all over it. That’s how the media, the internet and today’s industry works. Welcome to the world of fame, Patrick and Dan.

Ouch, does this video make Justin Bieber a hypocrite??? I say yes!!!

I discovered this video on Patrick Carney’s twitter page and had to share it here. Back when Justin was younger when he was campaigning for bullying, he appeared to against bullying back then. Now he went on twitter and said that Patrick needs to be slapped up. Well, that is bullying, no matter what you think of it. Justin Bieber, just got destroyed hard on this one, hahaha!

More on this Patrick Carney vs. Justin Bieber feud…

I just found Patrick Carney’s official twitter page, check it out, here.

As you can see, Patrick seems to be enjoying himself with this feud. All you see on Patrick’s twitter are retweets of Bieber fans insulting Patrick ’cause of what he said about Justin. Patrick would also respond to Bieber fans with smartass comments, so Patrick is definitely enjoying this and finding this entertaining. I’ll admit, I find some of Patrick’s responses funny as hell. I think the “swurple” comment is the funniest. Patrick seems to be obsessed with Bieber fans responding to him.

You know you’ve made it in the industry when you get Bieber fans, pissed off, lol!!!! (kidding)

At the same time though, it also seems like he doesn’t like it, ’cause he tweeted this, “It’s cool when you get cornered outside your hotel by a guy with a camera and they ask you a dumb question and then put it on TV. :(”

Instead of apologizing to Justin and moving on, he keeps at it. Wish he would knock of the bullshit and concentrate on the music with the Black Keys. Patrick is a talented drummer and all. He’s pretty sick at the drum kit actually, but if he wants to make it in the business, he needs to act like a professional. He’s becoming even more famous because of his feud with Justin instead of the music and that’s not a healthy way to get successful.

Thought: Patrick Carney vs. Justin Bieber feud…

There’s a lot of controversy over this, so I thought I would respond my quick thoughts on this story. TMZ has caught up with Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney, and they asked him a question about Justin Bieber that sparked outrage with the public. Patrick said, “He’s rich right? Grammys are for, like, music. Not for money… and he’s making a lot of money. He should be happy.” Justin responded back to him on his twitter saying he needs to be slapped up.

More on the story, here.

Here’s the thing. Before the Black Keys released their major label album, “El Camino”, they were just a small indie band. They weren’t very well known before that album. Now that they are starting to become commercial and mainstream, they’re gonna have to start dealing with being a “celebrity”, instead of a rock band. They have to watch every word they say now because the media will be all over it. Patrick has been outspoken about other things before but that’s how the media works.

It’s great that a rock band like the Black Keys is getting fame and mainstream recognition, but the way the music industry is today, it isn’t a good time for any rock band to become famous now. The Black Keys are a great rock band, they’re talented. Now that they are famous, Patrick and Dan are going to be looked at as bad guys ’cause their music is different than everyone else in the industry. The Black Keys aren’t a pop, r&b or a rap band. They are strictly blues rock.

Since Patrick said that comment about Justin Bieber, sure enough, all the Bieber fans and supporters stick up for him, and they think Patrick is a bully now just for being honest. That’s how their little “clique” works.

So who am I siding with? I’m sure you’re going to think I’m siding with Patrick on this one, but honestly, I’m kind of neutral on this one. Sure Patrick has the right to say what he wants but if he doesn’t want to be in hot water for this, then he should have avoided TMZ or the paparazzi altogether. In my opinion, I think Patrick has a lot to learn about celebrity and fame. He still has the rock star attitude in him as you can see and the way pop culture is, they won’t welcome that.

Justin Bieber isn’t innocent in this either. He needs to learn that the world doesn’t revolve around him just because he’s the world’s famous pop star. When you start seeing other celebrities like Patrick Carney and many others calling out Justin Bieber, that means we’re all getting tired of the Justin Bieber hype. It is why the kid needs to slow down in his career. The kid never takes any time off. He has to work all the time.

In my opinion, I think The Black Keys guys, Dan and Patrick should drop the major label and go back to indie, before the mainstream destroys them and it’s already happening.
