Actor Dennis Farina who played in movies as mostly a detective/cop in most of his career and he is also a former “real life” cop was arrested at Los Angeles airport carrying a loaded gun on his way boarding a plane. He had a .22 caliber in his briefcase and it was loaded. He was in a flight to go back home in Chicago, Ill. Farina was apologetic and cooperative with police and he claims he forgot the gun was in his briefcase.

My question is, how did he get through a metal detector without being caught with it? Don’t airports search everything people own when you go to flights?
Farina must of had it hidden pretty damn good.
