Look like we’re gonna have yet another Tim Burton and Johnny Depp collaboration on our hands folks. Announced today, Tim Burton is confirmed to make the new “Dark Shadows” movie starring Johnny Depp as Barnabus. In this article it says Johnny Depp being confirmed is a rumour at this point and they refuse to confirm it, but we know it’s true ’cause they don’t want to spoil surprises. John August is set to write the script.

Great choice for a director! Lets hope they get Danny Elfman for the score, that would be sweet! Burton would make a really good “Dark Shadows” movie, lets just hope they keep it low budget so it can live up to the old TV series. I hope Burton doesn’t make the film full of CGI. Lets hope he makes it similar to the TV series.

Hey Bravo! Wow! I LOVE Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, Big Fan! And I am one of those kids who used to RUN home from school to watch DS. I am already excited that Mr. Depp has a movie coming out about John Dillinger, one of my other fave subjects. Now I find out my favorite actor is going to revive one of my fave stories! THANK YOU!
