The boys in Metallica finally revealed their album title on their website. The name of their new studio album is “Death Magnetic”.
On their website, they’ve been putting together this weird code game where you have to figure out the words leading up to the album title.
“Death Magnetic” is scheduled to release sometime in September.

Definitely a better title than “St. Anger”. “Death Magnetic” definitely sounds like a definitive Metallica album.
But honestly, a definitive Metallica album is not a “definitive” Metallica album without Jason Newstead. Jason Newstead pretty much defined the new era of Metallica.
I don’t really care for their new bassist Rob Trujillo though.

Jason Newstead is a very talented musician but no way in hell is he better than Rob Trujillo. He has more energy than Jason ever will. And in case you have forgotten, from the documentary, when he auditioned for Metallica James even said they have not heard bass like that since Cliff. Thats pretty powerful. Also he didnt write anything on St. Anger, listen to what he did with Ozzy or watch live at the Budokan. I cant wait to see and here all the greatness they are about to unvail!
